Nutrition Focused Physical Exam Hands-on Training Workshop This workshop provides RDNs with the skills to perform a nutrition focused physical exam and accurately identify and provide a nutrition diagnosis of malnutrition for patients.

A medically tailored meals pilot project gained support in the House in the form of an amendment to H.R. 8816!

“While the amended bill will need to be considered by the full House, the inclusion of language related to medical nutrition therapy and the role of dietitians has been championed by the Academy as a necessary component of Food as Medicine initiatives and medically tailored meals,” said Academy President Livleen Gill, MBA, RDN, LDN, FAND.
