Multi-platinum artist Raekwon the Chef has created a new standard in luxury with Licataa sparkling wine. Inspired by his love of Italian culture and cuisine, he sought out Cantine Ceci, a family-owned winery with 80 years of history to produce a rich, bold, sparkling red wine.

Bright red fruit, sparkling, candied cherry, plum, a little baking spice, slight tartness, and a dry finish. Earthy aroma with good tannins and notes of blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, and black currant on the palate.

Maison Noir is a two-fold lifestyle project producing both a T-Shirt line and Oregon wines.  Founded by sommelier André Hueston Mack in 2007, both ends of Maison Noir incorporate a trademark attitude and personal perspective on wine subculture.  The wines are unique and distinctive garage wines, initially created for some of the New York's best restaurants for whom Mack was a sommelier and now available nationwide.  Maison Noir apparel is inspired by WINE LIFESTYLE/STREET CULTURE of the punk and hip-hop scenes while reminiscent of independent skateboard company apparel of the 1990s.

Also from iconic American sommelier André Hueston Mack of French Laundry and Per Se fame, Rye & Sons is crafted with a winemaker’s approach. This, the inaugural annual release, reflects the brand’s ethos which endeavors to provide approachable and affordable rye whiskey for easy sipping and intuitive cocktailing.

Duey Juice Cocktails is a product of Chicago that started as a drink offered to family and friends at an annual kickball tournament held in Hyde Park. This homebrew recipe was created to fill a void in the alcohol industry and provide a drink that could be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of alcohol preference. A drink that packs enough punch for the cocktail enthusiast, yet smooth enough for the lighthearted consumer. Duey Juice Original Tropical Blend was introduced in 2019 and quickly became a fan favorite, growing in popularity.

By 2020 Duey Juice became more popular in Chicago as friends and family continued to request the rum-based cocktail and by this point the perfect second sku was introduced, “Duey Blu”, a blueberry lemonade flavored rum-based punch. These two flavors took the city by storm, and it got featured on National TV twice. It took roughly 18 months to commercialize the homebrew and by 2022 the formulation was complete, and the brand was ready to make its Debut! Drew Fox, 18th Street's founder, opened a brewpub in Gary in 2013, and he launched another beer company, Sour Note Brewing, in 2014. In 2019, 18th Street's Hammond location was selected as “Best Brewpub in the United States” in a USA Today readers' choice survey. 18th Street Distillery opened in Hammond in 2018.

Michael Lavelle Wines is a Black-owned luxury private wine label launched in June 2020 founded by Howard University alum Aaron "Michael" Coad and Terrence "Lavelle" Low along with their partners, Sommelier Devin M. Kennedy and Brandon L. Crump. 

Now recognized as the youngest Black-owned wine company owners, they got started through passionate curiosity about wine and its rich history and recognized a glaring void in fresh, culturally relevant wine craftsmanship offered and marketed towards millennials and minority audiences. They took creative license to develop a disruptive brand fused with art, education, and most importantly, unmatched wine experiences.

It was Christmas morning when Chrishon got the call. A freak flood in the building of Chrishon’s thriving Chicago art and wine bar that she had co-founded several years prior had destroyed everything. When an insurance loophole didn’t cover the damages, Chrishon was forced to shutter the business. Finding herself back at ground zero, Chrishon’s instinct to pick herself up and figure out what was next kicked into high gear. She had been running a lifestyle blog and radio show for fun called, Love Cork Screw, where she frequently shared advice and tips on wine, entertaining, and relationships. In the aftermath of the flood, it dawned on Chrishon that Love Cork Screw was more than just a blog, it was a brand; her brand.

Love Cork Screw encompassed all the things that Chrishon was passionate about bringing together and sharing with others. And just like that, Chrishon’s mission to reinvent how we think about and experience wine was set in motion.
