E2L - Eat to Live Farm & Gardens
Eat to Live (E2L) is a project to build a healthier local food system and economy. We have 2 Learning Gardens and an Incubator Farm.
We are led by Angelic Organics Learning Center (LearnGrowConnect.org). Eat to Live (E2L) is a project led by Angelic Organics Learning Center, with 2 Learning Gardens and an Incubator Farm near 70th Place and South Princeton Ave at the borders of Greater Grand Crossing and Englewood.

Cedillo's Fresh Produce is hiring CSA & Farmer's Market Support Roles at $15 an hour for 10 hours a week (for a total of 24 weeks beginning in May). These support roles will work five hours on Saturday supporting either the Plant Chicago Farmer's Market stand in Back of the Yards or Mercado de Colores stand in Little Village. Another five hours will be spend on Monday preparing and delivering our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Shares to community members.
QUALIFICATIONS
-There is no minimum age required to apply, but applicant must be able to demonstrate independence and ability to work 10 hours a week
-Reliable access to a car
-Some familiarity with food growing
-Able to carry atleast 30 lbs.
-Comfortable will physical labor for a minimum of 3 hours
-Comfortable with working outdoors with different environments and bees/insects
-Must speak Spanish and English
-Able to adapt to a quick moving environment and face challenges with creativity and solution based thinking
PREFERRED
-We will prioritize applicants from Back of the Yards, Englewood, & Little Village
