Tips for proper breathing during the Covid pandemic by Dr. Jenny Hobson:
1. USE YOUR NOSE
Breathing through your nose is important for your health. When breathing through our nose we filter and sterilize the air, and begin to activate our diaphragm.
2. BREATHE SLOW
Many of us are breathing too fast, or too much, or breathing through the chest and mouth. We can begin to slow down our breathing by breathing through our nose.
3. BREATHE LOW�
When breathing, many of us aren’t activating our diaphragm — the muscle just below our rib cage. As we inhale, our lower ribs should expand, and as we exhale we should feel our diaphragm recoil and relax.

I couldn’t agree more. Our Craniofacial Therapist are also seeing the same trend due to the Covid pandemic causing stress in everyone’s lives. At Physiopartners Renaissance CranioFacial group we treat many of Dr. Rana Stino and many other dental patients that deal with stress related clenching problems with cracking teeth, headaches and TMJ. If you find that you have these issues, our specialized Craniofacial Therapists are used to treating this problem with manual therapy to the head neck and TMJ, along with Dry Needling and Postural corrections due to poor sitting posture at the computer.

Yet another January in Chile of Training with Dr. Mariano Rocabado at his Rocabado Institute. I was able to take a course with Dr. Rocabado and Dr. Roberto Gutierrez along with collaborating with him. With Covid Procedures being very strict Chile, it was definitely was a different experience.. I will always look back at these photos and no it was the Covid year.
