Thanks to everyone that visited McManor this year. We gave out almost 800 bags of candy and had close to 1200 people go through the Haunted House. A question we always get is how many extension cords are we using?Well this year it was 40. Plus three DC power supplies to make the residents come to life. Last chance to experience McManor. Thank you to everyone who has visited McManor this year. You are all wonderful. Nothing stops our visitors; not even the horrible weather we’ve had this season. The residents will show up early for the scaredy cats and children at 3:00 pm today. We encourage you to wait until dark to get the full effect. That’s when the residents are more active (some of the special effects we use can only be seen in the dark). We plan on staying open until 10:00 pm. But as we write this it is already snowing, so we are hopeful the weather will not adversely affect our residents. Please be respectful of our neighbors and don’t block driveways. If their lights are not on, please don’t bother them. We had close to 1000 people last year and had no complaints. Please help us keep it this way and have a safe and Happy Halloween

Happy Friday the 13th. Enjoy a seek peek at some of the new residents. We will have the lights on dusk till 10 every night till Halloween. But because of the rain forecasted this weekend no residents will be working. We are still working on a completely new configuration in the haunted house. Opening night will be the 20th. Then it will be open 21 and 28 and of course the 31.

We hope to have everything up by the the 20th. Rain in the forecast for the next couple of days isn’t going to help.

Chicago Haunt Builders has put together a Google map. You can search by city/zip code to find haunts in that area. Please check haunts page or website before going for hours of operation or if due to weather closed. There is a lot of amazing homes out there get out and enjoy them.

Slowly it’s returning. So much more to do. Make sure to check here first before planning a visit. As of now we plan on having all the residents back by October 20 with the Haunted House walk through only open on 21,28, and 31. Stay tuned for updates.

Well thanks to everyone who made it to McManor this year. Halloween night with the help from the Swick family and Ken we handed out over 700 bags of candy. Numerous dog treats. During our 4pm to 10pm opening we had 4 1/2 hours of non stop no break Haunted House tours. The 592 counter was how many people I personally took though the house. Again this was just Halloween night. Have no clue on the numbers the two weekends leading up to Halloween. What a great year

We have quite the crowd.

Happy Halloween the plan is to open the Haunted House up at 4pm-10. Keep those bones crossed the rain misses us.

Looking to show off that great costume idea you have this year? This is the place to be tonight. The voice of McManor Rick Williams is the DJ, along with the southside’s most under appreciated vocalist/bass player Mr. Rob Frank. Well after you stop by McManor of course. We want to see that costume also. Haunted House will be open 7pm till 10pm at McManor tonight.

Have been REALLY busy since last post working on getting ready for opening night of the Haunted House Saturday October 22. It will be open This Saturday and Sunday nights and also next Saturday Sunday and of course Halloween night the 31

12’ skeleton McRibb update. Cutting the skull was frightening. But needed to be done if he is going to talk.

McManor will start taking shape next weekend. Then the residents will be popping up here and there. October 15 everyone should be in place for your viewing pleasure. Not sure yet on what days the Haunted House will be open. Also Rick finished up 3D printing our parts for McRib the 12’ tall skeleton. When done he will be able to talk and move his head just like Bones. Will he be another wise cracking smarty like Bones? What will he say and sound like ?
