Organics of Chicago uses urban farming methods as a source of revenue to aid in the rehabilitation of domestic violence victims and displaced teens.
Vertical farming methodologies will be employed to grow organic produce and used as its organizational business operations. The resulting product will be sold to local merchants at a discount to market. Local schools and the community will be encouraged to visit the facility in order to learn more about urban agriculture.
