May is Melanoma Awareness month - so this is your friendly reminder to get your annual skin and mole screening!

Even if you don't have a family history of skin cancer, it is so important to stay up to date with your dermatologist. I'm sad to report that in my younger days I was not as nice to my skin. I was over exposed to UV rays, and I didn't use clean high quality products. Although I am doing everything I can now to ensure healthy looking skin, those sun burns of my past still haunt me.

This visit I had several pre-cancerous moles removed 👉swipe to see my pic. This is a minor procedure and helps to ensure that they don't turn into melanoma down the road. SKIN CANCER SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN LIGHTLY! 🗣It affects 1 in 5 American each year, and can be deadly if not found and treated early on. Take care of your skin, wear your SPF, and get an annual skin check-up. If you need a good dermatologist recommendation let me know 😊
