We’re back! Hootenanny is excited to reinstate our post-production internship program this summer with an in-person paid internship at our downtown Chicago studio.

You’ll learn the process of post-production (producing, creative editorial, motion graphics and VFX), help out with the day-to-day operations, and create a post project specialized to your interest. This internship will run Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-5pm at our studio —remote applicants need not apply. Austin’s curiosity for video production started at an early age. He used to create sketches with his wrestling action figures, and his interest grew from there. Years later, he took his first filmmaking class at Community College, and the rest is history!

He enjoys camping, hiking, building his vinyl collection, and playing video games. His favorite film at the moment is Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. His first job was at an orchard back home, where he would pick corn, green beans, tomatoes, and apples.

Well, Austin, we’re happy that you picked us! Let’s show Austin some Hootenanny love and welcome him to the family! ✨❤️
