Come to an ASL interpreted theater performance on Saturday, November 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Elgin Community College!
“You Can’t Take It With You” is a classic screwball comedy won the Pulitzer Prize in 1937 and it’s been entertaining audiences ever since. In the zany world of a quirky New York family, Alice, a tech-savvy dreamer, falls head over heels for Tony, the charming banker’s son. When their snooty in-laws crash dinner, chaos erupts, leading to a houseful of unexpected arrests.
The Saturday, November 16th performance at 7:30 p.m. will be ASL interpreted. An ASL interpreter will be near the stage for guests who are deaf or hard of hearing. The guests will be seated in an area of the theatre that gives them the best sight lines to follow the interpretation and the action on stage. When arriving to the theater, inform the usher that you need to be seated near the interpreters.
Tickets to see the “You Can’t Take It With You” are $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, and FREE for students and can be purchased online at the ECC Arts Center web page Buy Now | ECC Arts Center or by calling the ECC Arts Center Box Office at 847-622-0300.
