ESDC is proud to announce the 15th Annual Mole de Mayo Festival, taking place on Friday, May 24 through Sunday, May 26th, 2024 right here in Pilsen, the heart of Chicago's Mexican community! The three day extravaganza will include local restaurant chefs competing for one of two awards: Mole de Mayo's Best Mole Award and The People's Choice Award! Along with the traditional Mole puestos (booths), the festival will have two stages featuring national and international musical entertainment, live Lucha Libre, visual artists, traditional Aztec/ Mexica dance and so much more!!

Because of Pilsen's neighborhood tradition, steeped in culture, art and resistance, Pilsen has been deemed a Barrio Mágico - Magical realism. Pilsen is the first Barrio Magico, or Magical Neighborhood, in the US. Congratulations, Pilsen!!
