Help us , it was designed to help small businesses weather COVID19-related downturns. When the bill was written, we were looking at short-term measures to stop the spread. Now, the loans are being rolled out, but our restaurants have no open date in sight. This means we have to take funds to rehire staff of shuttered restaurants, only to lay them off again in 8 weeks.
We need Congress to implement a clause that can help our industry survive - The 8 week period begins the later of: PPP funds being distributed or civic mandate being lifted without restriction for your particular city or state.
You can help! Post a pic of yourself with a sign stating to , tag your Congressional representatives, and let people know that we need action now!
Sign our letter to Congress with all of the crucial measures needed to make sure our industry survives in the long-term.
