It has been too long since we’ve seen you last, but we have somm (excuse our pun) exciting news - our pick up for SDC Spring Wine Club 💐 🍷 is happening Thursday June 6th from 6-8 pm AND we would like to formally invite you to an evening on the Honey Butter Fried Chicken Chicago patio with delicious wines, pizzas, and homemade oreos!

We’ll be tasting some of the hand-selected wines from , with additional bottles available for purchase. Come by just for the tasting, just for the ‘za, or (we recommend) both! Here are the deets:

The wine tasting is $5 for SDC Wine Club members and $20 for non-members. And we have TWO delicious pizzas 🍕 has made (one peppers and pepperoni, and one cheese) plus homemade Oreos from !

All are welcome, but SDC Wine Club members receive a $10 discount. Here’s what’s included, per person:

Tasting of fall wines with + library/rare wines from producers

Pizzas: House-made Fennel Pollen Sausage, SDC Tomato Sauce, Wisconsin Fresh Mozzarella, Low Moisture Mozzarella, Sarvecchio, Marieke Gouda ~AND~ Candied Jalapeño Tomato Sauce, Prairie Fruits Farm Chevre, Sarvecchio, Castelvetrano Olives

Cake: Banana Chocolate Chip Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Each guest will get one big square of each pizza, and a piece of cake - plenty for a dinner! All orders will be packed lovingly for takeout - guests can eat on site, or take the food to go.

It’s nice to end things for the year (especially this year) on a lovely note. Case in point: SDC chocolate mousse! We’ve been making this mousse for the last 16 years as the dessert for cassoulet dinner and we love it and we hope you love it.

There’s really no better way to end our year and prep for our break than with our beloved Cassoulet. It’s a dish we’ve been making almost every year since SDC began, and it has a very special place in our hearts.

December 29, 30, and 31, we will be offering Cassoulet Dinner Packs for 1 which includes a salad and (of course, chocolate mousse), with the option to add on some extra portions to eat, freeze, share, etc. Since we’re taking a hiatus, we highly recommend you add on a Cassoulet Zine from our pantry to make this comfy dish yourself! SDC HIATUS ANNOUNCEMENT: These past couple of years have brought change and challenge for all of us.The pandemic has forced many pivots as we sought to find new ways to safely offer SDC service while pursuing our mission: bringing people together to laugh, to drink, to eat, to connect, and to nourish. We did the very best we could. BUT. Long story short, we are drained and need a break.

While we continue to love and cherish Sunday Dinner Club, we have decided that what is best for the moment is to pause regular operations at the end of this year. For how long, and to what end, we do not yet know.

We will be offering the last (for now) Pizza + Cake this weekend, so make sure you order before we sell out. Our last meal for the year will be, fittingly, our beloved Cassoulet. We are also offering the last of the Sunday Dinner Pantry items, so you stock up on some favorite items while we’re on pause to keep the spirit of SDC alive in your kitchen and home.

We have deeply loved cooking for you all. We appreciate you so much, and we thank you for having dinner with us. All this said, we will keep you updated on our return with any offerings we might pop up with along the way (ahem, PIZZA!) AND we are planning on keeping the SDC Wine Club going, so stayed tuned for cool upgrades, add ons, and events to come.
