If you've just started, think about why you've started. Envision where you will be a month or a year from now. Each day is a step to get there.

First full day back from vaca and my ABS are no where to be found but that’s ok! I was in the dells for 11 days! My schedule was completely different, less sleep, different types of food, a few more drinks and a few more desserts! I had an AMAZING time with my family and that’s what counts! Vacation should be a time of family, rest and enjoyment! Everything in moderation is key! Drop the idea of all or nothing approach!!! If you live on a ridged schedule and give up everything you enjoy, you are setting yourself up for failure! NO ONE can live like that! Enjoy your life!!!
Tips to lose the bloat post-vacation:
1️⃣Drink lots of water💦 (half your body weight)
2️⃣Get 8 hours of sleep😴
3️⃣Workout🏃♀️🏋️♂️
4️⃣Avoid artificial sweeteners 🍬
5️⃣Avoid sugary foods🍭
8️⃣Get outside & move more🚶♀️
9️⃣Limit/avoid alcohol (dehydrates you increasing bloat)
🔟 and most importantly get back to your normal schedule as soon as you get back home

Keeping up with fitness goals while on vacation!
First of all... I love wine. Always will. And yes, it is possible to consume it *in moderation* while maintaining your fitness goals.
Yes, consuming LARGE amounts of alcohol can impair the body's ability to build and repair muscle and also hinder your weight loss goals... but there is no definitive answer to how much alcohol specifically impacts muscle protein synthesis because individual tolerance levels and other factors play a huge role. So to be safe, if you enjoy it, enjoy it in moderation. Just like you would a treat.
Second, I always strive to keep fitness consistent while traveling. By making time for workouts, whether it's getting in extra steps, jump roping, or doing bodyweight exercises in the room, I can maintain my progress AND balance the enjoyment of being on vacation.
Moderation is key - staying active lets me enjoy the treats guilt-free! When I get home, I'm going all in! But having some vacation time to relax and rest is priority!
Here are my general "do's and don't's" when it comes to fitness goals + vacation...
Do:
Start the day with a workout if the schedule allows it.
Prioritize exploring the destination by foot to get in steps.
Choose local, fresh options for meals and stay on track.
Indulge in moderation - pick between savoring that special dessert or cocktail for each meal guilt-free!
Don't:
Obsess over tracking every calorie or macro - I enjoy the experience of trying new foods!
Skip meals to "save calories" for later indulgences - keep a balanced approach.
Feel guilty about missing a workout
Let vacation be an excuse to abandon healthy habits altogether - find a happy medium.
Forget to hydrate! Keep water intake up, especially in warm climates.

Life is too short.
Be confident in the skin you are in.
Step into a room knowing you light it up and allow your energy to speak for you.
Celebrate yourself and others.
Start to work within and embrace your unique and beautiful self. Trust in life and your abilities.
No matter what happens, believe you are worthy and enough.
Don't waste a single minute dwelling on insecurities.
Be confident in the skin!!!

Things every woman should know:
Everyone has rolls when they bend over.
When someone tells you that you’re beautiful, believe them. They aren’t lying.
For every woman unhappy with her stretch marks is another woman who wishes she had them.
You should DEFINITELY have more confidence. And if you saw yourself the way that others see you, you would.
Don’t look for a man to save you. Be able to save yourself.
It’s okay to not love every part of your body…but you should.
We all have that one friend who seems to have it all together. That woman with the seemingly perfect life. Well, you might be that woman to someone else.
You should be a priority. Not an option, a last resort, or a backup plan.
You’re a woman. And that alone makes you pretty dang remarkable. So, let’s fix our crowns and have a kick butt weekend ❤️👑

Looking for quick fixes… will never get you the results…
Stop looking for programmes promoting getting lean for summer, these sorts of titles and programmes are promoting quick fixes and making you think committing to change should only be for a period of time which isn't the case.
Because then what happens after summer? You'll just stop and end up back where you started. Instead focus on changing your lifestyle and form habits that you'll carry throughout life with you so that you can sustain the results you get
Yes staying consistent is hard work, that's why so many people give up, because they don't see drastic results as quick as they thought they would so they soon become demotivated and convince themselves that it isn't working but if you keep pushing big changes will happen.
Think about this, you may have an off day, a day where you go over your calories, where you miss a workout and don't get your daily steps in and that is not the end of the world.
Remind yourself that one day slightly off track is fine, you don't need to then just stop for the rest of the week because of one slightly off track day. It doesn't need to be 100% or 0%.
You don't make all your progress from one day of eating well and exercising so you won't lose it all if you have one day slightly off track. Don't just stop trying for the rest of the day or week, overindulging for the sake of it and convincing yourself that you will try again next week.
Change your mindset from thinking the only way to get results is by doing everything right every day of the year.
Things happen, we have bad days, off days, days where we we can't be bothered but thats okay, don't just completely give up on those days, still focus on small changes and improvements because every change, no matter how small, makes a difference.
We all have those days when we don't feel like doing anything. Maybe we had a tough day at work, or we're just feeling lazy. I know for me my usual morning routine was off and I was extremely stressed. Whatever the reason is, it's so easy to let our motivation slip on those days.
BE STRONGER THAN THE EXCUSES!!!
If we're consistent, even on the days when we don't feel like it, we'll still get things done. And usually, once we've started, it's not as bad as we thought it would be.
Whatever your dreams are for this year remember that you need to wholeheartedly believe in yourself. You may have days when you are discouraged but remember it's just a bad day. Never let those negative thoughts overcome you and your goals.

Embrace your rest day… For me taking a rest day takes more discipline than working out! However, rest days must be part of your training. It is crucial to get rest to see the results that you want. Being tired will not only hinder your performance in your workout but in your daily life too. It will leave you crabby, craving sugar, and feeling hungry more often. That's because your body is looking for energy. Just because today is my rest doesn’t mean I don’t move my body

Are you ready to change your entire way of thinking? I know, that sounds extreme, however if you make a daily habit of writing down just three things you are thankful for every day, I think you will be surprised at the change you see in yourself, your wellbeing, and your happiness! Starting every day with some quiet time, reflecting on the little things (or the big things!) that you are thankful for, is a sure way to start the day on the right note. If we constantly focus on what we don't have, how in the world do we expect to be happy? But if we choose to see the blessings all around us, big or small we begin to focus on the good things in life, the little things that sometimes mean the most. Take five minutes, write down three things, just three simple things, and remember to seek the beauty in this life that you’ve been given.

These last few months have brought on a lot of unforeseen obstacles. Even though my workouts and nutrition have been on point. I found myself overtraining and beating on my body harder than normal due to being stressed out. I started second guessing everything I was doing and was in my head too much. I ended up gaining a few extra pounds, having trouble sleeping, and found myself unfocused and cloudy. I kept changing my workouts and nutrition and I was making myself crazy! I finally said STOP!!!🛑
I restarted the workout program that puts me in my happy place, I made sure I had a variety of meals planned and prepped for the week (including snacks), went back to intermittent fasting, drinking my teas, listening to mindset and spending extra time at night foam rolling.
Even though I’m still in a stressful situation I feel serene today for the first time in 3 months. Bottom line is you will always have stress and problems but set your peace of mind as your highest goal and organize your life around it and everything will fall into place 🙏
