The other day I was invited to a Backyard BBQ-it was really a pig roast! Nonetheless, I brought my famous poundcake! The flavor I brought was lemon! I made it a point to go inside of the house. Find a knife come outside, cut and slice my pound cake and make it look presentable for someone to wanna grab it off the dessert table. As I was sitting in the chairs, enjoying the live salsa band, I look over to my left and I saw a woman biting into my poundcake. The expression on her face was priceless. I wish I could’ve captured that moment with video or a picture and from the distance we were from each other I couldn’t hear what she said, but if I were to create the best story as she looked at her friend, after biting into the poundcake, she said this is amazing! I share that because the moment was priceless for me as well. It brought me so much joy, and I even shared with my boyfriend that moment that I just experienced! As a Baker for someone to enjoy something that you make with love is really a priceless moment and gift, and if you’ve never tried my poundcake, I encourage you to place an order!
