IBAA’s First Ever Musical: Finding Nemo Jr! 🐠
Splash into summer with our first ever musical theatre production: Finding Nemo Jr. We will host a 3-week theatre camp, guiding students to put together a full production for their friends, family, and the local community to enjoy. This camp exists to build community, foster character development, and encourage creative potential for youth interested in theatre by providing a God-centered, positive environment. We plan to have 2 separate casts, 1 at each of our camp locations in Chino and Yorba Linda. All final performances will happen at our Chino location.

WE ARE TWO DAYS AWAY! 😱
We are just two days away from starting up our After School Classes! YAY! Make sure to sign up as soon as possible. Our classes will go from January 24th to May 15th, giving us 16 weeks together (with a week off for Spring Break). Our After School Classes are a wonderful way for students to dive deeper into an artistic medium while also getting to know other students and create art together!
Here's are all of the details about our classes:

Studio Arts I (Recommended for ages 5-12)
-Day: Wednesdays
-Time: 4:00pm to 5:00pm
-Prices: $93 monthly; $339 in full

Studio Arts II (Recommended for ages 13-18)
-Day: Wednesdays
-Time: 5:00pm to 6:30pm
-Prices: $133 monthly; $499 in full

Art of Animation I (Recommended for ages 5-12)
-Day: Wednesdays
-Time: 4:00pm to 5:00pm
-Prices: $90 monthly; $330 in full

Art of Animation II (Recommended for ages 13-18)
-Day: Wednesdays
-Time: 5:00pm to 6:30pm
-Prices: $130 monthly; $487 in full

Performing Arts I (Recommended for ages 5-12)
-Day: Wednesdays
-Time: 4:00pm to 5:00pm

Performing Arts II (Recommended for ages 13-18)

In our Culinary Arts Class, students got to help each other create Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread! They had a blast cracking eggs, mixing batter, and discussing what yummy dishes they will create make next!

After getting many layers of paint on ourselves, the IBAA Instructors completed the backdrop for camp! This backdrop will be in our main meeting room where we’ll get to use it for worship songs, our skit, and acting opportunities for students!

1. Why do you do art?
Storytelling, and art in general, are a central part of how I understand the world. I love the way it allows us to express ourselves to each other and to God. There is so much love, joy, and healing to be found in the artistic process, and it is one of the clearest ways we embody the Imago Dei.

2. What part of camp are you looking forward to the most?
I’m so excited to hang out with the kids! They have amazing creative minds, and I enjoy laughing and learning with them.

3. What’s your favorite sea creature?
Man, I love seals, and walruses, they just seem to know how to have a good, relaxed time. They’re sort of the Hobbits of the sea, and I am all about that.

1. Why do you do art?
I believe that the purpose of doing art is to worship God in a unique way that can aid in furthering His kingdom and reflecting His love to others. I do art as an act of worship to our Lord!

2. What part of camp are you looking forward to the most?
I’m looking forward to getting to know all of the students and helping them discover how they are called to create by our Creator!

3. What’s your favorite sea creature?
My favorite sea creature is a sea otter, but my favorite Water Type Pokémon is Mudkip!

I have a passion of creating fun art pieces and hope to inspire other to create as well.

1. Why do you do art?
I do art because it helps me to express myself and to be the best version of myself! I get to share the talents that God gave me with others and it’s the best thing ever!

I can’t wait to see the students learn a musical theater dance to share with their parents at the end!! They always blow me away with how quick they learn and how creative they are!

My favorite sea creature is a starfish!!

Created 2 Create, our Elementary summer art camp, will give 1st through 6th grade students the opportunity to explore many different art forms as they discover how they are created to create.

Each day while exploring various art mediums, students will also discover Biblical Truths through art integration, getting the best aspects of a VBS program and an art camp!
