General rule of thumb when applying your skincare products is layering thinnest to thickest. Meaning your water-based products first, then your serums, then your creams (moisturizers).

I recommend applying your hyaluronic acid serum immediately after cleansing while your skin is still damp to lock in the moisture on your skin. Followed by your serum, moisturizer and spf.
