SF Urban Film Fest presents a screening of the new documentary, SA AMIN: Our Place (co-directed by Dyan Ruiz), the untold stories of Filipinos in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood. The film features never before seen archival footage from the late documentary filmmaker, Sam Tagatac. Before the film screening, there will be a reception celebrating the Filipinos of South Bay (FOSBE) Exhibit and Oscar Peñaranda will read from his most recent book, Follower of the Seasons: A Onethology in Symphony. A panel discussion and audience Q&A will follow the screening. Tickets are free, but space is limited.
