At St. Paul's PACE, we stand in solidarity with Governor Gavin Newsom's recent proclamation declaring May 2023 as, “Older Californians Month”. We honor the unique experiences and perspectives of older adults, and we remain dedicated to providing comprehensive care and support to seniors in San Diego! This May and every day, we celebrate the remarkable achievements and ongoing contributions of our senior population.

We are pleased to announce Fernando Hernani as our new Center Director at St. Paul's PACE Chula Vista! 👋

Fernando brings a wealth of experience from his previous positions, including franchise owner at A Better Solution in Home Care in Northern San Diego and serving over 20 years in the United States Navy as a Department Head at the Naval Recruiting District in San Francisco, where he provided leadership and guidance to the recruiting team. Fernando also worked as a Program Manager & Instructor at Naval Special Warfare Basic Training Command (NSWBTC), commonly known as SEAL training or BUDs (Basic Underwater Demolition School). In this role, he played a crucial part in training and preparing new SEALs for the rigorous demands of special operations.

Rotarians from the Chula Vista Rotary Club continue to share the love with our participants and made a second contribution of essential needs items including fresh fruit from Southbay Sustainable Communities❣️We are thankful for your continued support!

Rotarians from the Chula Vista Rotary Club joined in spreading the spirit of love by assembling over 100 Valentine bags filled with essential needs items for our low income seniors at St. Paul’s PACE.

Staff at our St. Paul’s PACE CHULA Vista location got into the festive spirit and had a Thanksgiving pie bake-off 🥧😋!

On November 11, 2022, participants and staff took part in a Veteran’s Day Ceremony. The ceremony consisted of honoring our Veteran participants, staff members, and family members. Inspiring words were provided by the St. Paul's PACE Chula Vista Chaplain, Anselmo Brillon, Jr. and a new U.S. flag was dedicated and raised as a remembrance of freedom and the efforts of those who have served to maintain our freedom.

Every year during the holidays, St. Paul's asks the community to donate essential need items for our St. Paul's PACE participants. This year, we are hosting a Drop-Off Event on Friday, November 18 from 8 AM to 3 PM. We hope you will join us by donating several new/unopened items to seniors in need!

You can donate:

canned goods
- non-perishable goods
- toiletries
- hygiene products
- warm clothes (new or unopened only)
- more!
