What is Blaq Birth Circle?
We are a collective of autonomous Black Birthworkers who come together to learn, lean, and grow with each other. We are here to uplift and heal each other to battle Birthworker Burnout. We do this by hosting events for Birthworkers to fellowship and network, give access to trainings, and hold space while we unpack the birth trauma that lives on our bodies but is not of our bodies.
Interested in being a part of the collective? Reach out to us! All Blaq Birthworkers are welcome.

Blaq Birth Circle is a black woman led organization that is making history.
We encourage parents, both new and seasoned, to attend childbirth education before the arrival of their new bundle of joy. Being educated helps families understand the decisions they will make during pregnancy, labor, birth and the postpartum period and feel well-prepared to embark on the journey to becoming a parent of a growing family.
Queens Village Cincinnati and Cradle Cincinnati have partnered with The Walking Stick and Blaq Birth Circle to bring you an in-person, 1-day childbirth education class specifically for our Black families!
If you are 20+ weeks pregnant and want to join our class, click here to register: https://www.thewalkingstick.org/event-details/1-day-childbirth-education-class.
