Waterscapes of WNY
We are an innovative and value driven company in the business of building, servicing, and maintaining water features in the Western New York area.
We are establishing ourselves as the leader in beautiful koi ponds, waterfalls, and water features.
Which one would you want in your yard?
Enjoy your water feature Day or Night!
With warm white lights your water feature can be enjoyed no matter the time of day. Watch your fish swim around or catch a glimpse of the waterfall lights flickering off the landscape around the feature.
Have you ever seen such a dramatic pond transformation?
This pond was well overdue for a renovation! Although there were a few modifications/additions to the pond over the years, there was no stopping Mother Nature. The heron took all the fish, the iris & lilies took over the body of the pond, and there was a major leak somewhere.
The customer was desperate to be able to enjoy the pond and waterfalls again. With a lot of ongoing health struggles, she was searching for a place to get away and find peace. Her only request was to have a place to sit beside the pond and watch the fish.
After totally removing the old pond and starting fresh… we made a few changes of our own. We shifted the pond away from the shed & swing in order to create a wider walking path. We excavated the pond deeper, added shelves for marginal plants, and installed warm white led lights. To top it off we added goldfish, aquatic plants, and landscaped all around the feature.
Another happy customer!
Season 3: Episode 3 🎥
A drastic renovation for a well deserving customer. Her only request was to be able to sit by her pond again and watch the fish… something that was lost many years ago!
It is not very often we are gifted with this much slope…. facing the house!
This pondless waterfall renovation was well overdue. The original waterfall has been flowing for 15+ years, but as of late it has been loosing water. The ultimate solution was to remove the original feature and restart.
In its place we installed a brand new set of waterfalls with large granite boulders, multiple cascades, and a natural rocking style. Our goal is to recreate nature and to blur the line between where the feature ends and the landscape starts.
Season 3: Episode 2
We couldn’t have asked for a better canvas than what this backyard gave us.
We hope everyone had a great Independence Day celebrating our freedom with your friends and family.

Want an easy way to enjoy your outdoor living space without the distraction of a busy road ? Add a water feature, in this case a fountainscape, to drowned out the unwanted noise with the peaceful sounds of splashing water.
The FIRST pond build of the year and the first episode of Season 3.
This particular pond needed a lot of help! We decided it was best to remove the old pond and relocate it so that the customers could see it from inside. We left some of the old structure, but added all new filtration and a natural boulder rocking style.
Stay tuned for updated pictures once the landscaping is completed.
Starting off strong with an ecosystem pond relocation/renovation! Watch our first build of the season below.
Did you see us at Plantasia Garden & Landscape Show? If not, you missed out on a one of a kind indoor fountainscape. These fountain features can sit on their own or pair nicely in an existing ecosystem pond.
Now THIS …is what a healthy lily looks like!
What causes ALGAE? In this case, it’s the direct sunlight all day long. Underneath that carpet of algae there is a black liner. Exposed liner heats up and is the perfect breeding ground for this unsightly algae.
Not to worry, it can be fixed!

The Holiday season was upon us, but we finished just in time!
This full backyard renovation includes lots of new patio space, a multi-level deck, and of course a water feature. We were given a blank slate and great design to follow… the perfect scenario! What we didn’t anticipate was consistent bedrock at inconsistent depths. We worked around these obstacles to complete this one of a kind pondless waterfalls.
Although not fully complete yet, this pondless boasts 17,000 gph flowing over multiple hight changes as well as twists and turns. The feature will be highlighted by 11 warm white led lights to create a second water feature to be enjoyed at night. Finally the new plantings and outcropping boulders (when installed) will blur the lines of where the water feature ends and landscape begins.
Our goal is to create water features that look like they have always been there and that the house & outdoor living space were built around it.
We love this project, we love our customers, and we love our job!
🎥S2:E13 - Season Finale
We treat each water feature like it’s our own!
This pond to pondless waterfall conversion was special for us and our customer. The daughter had reached out looking for someone to help with a leaking pond at her mother’s house. That conversation quickly led down the path of the mother wanting to rebuild into something that would be less maintenance. We had the perfect solution, a pondless waterfalls.
The customer had recently lost her husband and this would be the first major decision without him. With support from her daughter and many conversations, we made a perfect plan for their water feature. We would keep the same general footprint, but update the design and functionality. We made sure to walk the customer through the process step by step to make sure the changes we were making were what she wanted. We both agree, it turned out GREAT!
We love this project, we love our customers, and we love our job.
We are READY for the holidays!
