Dying, printing and creating new fabric to play with
I’m filled with so much love and gratitude. This exhibition, “ A Shared Vocabulary“, at Hearn Fine Art in Little Rock has been a wonderful experience, and I’m so grateful to the entire staff of the gallery, to my family who joined me for a weekend, my dearest friends who hosted me, patrons who continue to support my work, and spirit that moves through me so graciously. The teachers who brought the students out to see the exhibition and the subsequent workshop at Parkview was just icing on the cake. As always Lead with Love as we continue this journey together.✌🏽🙏🏽❤️
"The first step in liquidating a people is to erase its memory. Destroy its books, its culture, its history, Then have somebody write new books, manufacture a new culture, invent a new history. Before long the nation will begin to forget what it is and what it was. The world around it will forget even faster......The struggle of man against power is the struggle of memory against forgetting." - Milan Kundera
It was such an honor to be the key note speaker for the Arkansas Art Educators conference 🙏🏽❤️✌🏽
