Our second graders in Mrs. Baileyโs class are diving deep into grammar this week! They had an exciting time working in centers to identify subjects and predicates in sentences. ๐๐
๐ฅโ๏ธ Upper School wrapped up the month with a Final Friday Fellowship! Thereโs something special about setting aside time to gather, enjoy a delicious breakfast, and connect with one another in a meaningful way. Whether itโs sharing stories, reflecting on the first month of school, or simply enjoying each otherโs company, these moments of intentional fellowship remind us of the strong team weโre building together. ๐๐ช๐พ

Mrs. Hudakโs Pre-K4 class did a fantastic job sharing their โAll About Meโ bags! Each student proudly presented items that represent who they are, and it was such a joy to see them express themselves with confidence and excitement. Weโre so proud of these little ones for sharing their stories and celebrating what makes them unique! ๐

Upper School Pre-Algebra students finished out the week strong as they worked on problem solving methods and exponents. โ๏ธโ๐๐ผ๐๐ป
8th grade students worked in groups to discuss the literature piece they just completed. Students shared their personal annotations, as well as analyzed the story events, character shifts, themes, and more! ๐๐๐ฃ๏ธ
Mrs. Ortonโs fifth-grade students recently showcased their knowledge and creativity by presenting their Social Studies posters! Fantastic job, fifth graders! ๐๐

We love seeing our students lead in the classroom and in Chapel! Students lead the Pledge of Allegiance and the Pledge to the Christian flag in their classrooms, as well as the Lordโs Prayer, the Bible pledge, and this weekโs scripture. ๐ค We also really love having our teachers stand with them to lead our school in prayer each morning. ๐

Our Hybrid Homeschool Level 3 students had fun learning about some very tiny and intricate parts of the cell designed by our great creator! ๐ Mrs. Celustaโs students modeled a phospholipid membrane, researched motor proteins, and played a game of Kinesin vs. Dynein.
This year in art, Mrs. Sugg challenges her 3rd-6th grade classes with a drawing prompt at the beginning of the class. For 5 minutes the students get to brainstorm and create what the prompt means to them. The independent thinking and creativeness is just amazing! This week the word was โbuildโ. ๐๐จ๐ผ๏ธโ๏ธ
We had the joy of celebrating Mrs. Myers and the arrival of sweet baby Amelia at a special Sip and See with our school family! It was a heartwarming time filled with love, laughter, and precious moments as we welcomed Amelia into our Chapel Hill Christian Academy community. Our newest little Lion! ๐ฆ Congratulations to Abbey, Will, Liam and Levi - our hearts are overflowing with happiness for you!๐๐
