What an amazing First Day of competition! Logan kicked things off in the competition with an impressive fight against a great opponent. We didn’t get the win, but his poise and resolve shined through! Showing everyone there that he belongs at this level and is already talking about next year!

Mariana went out and had a masterful first match. She dominated the match in every aspect and finished with a Kimura against a solid opponent. She met a friend and two time Kids Pan Champion in the next round. She fought her heart out showed amazing technique and almost pulled out the victory.

To say that we are proud of them is an understatement! These competitors are unrecognizable from the kids they were a year ago. Up next tomorrow is Ronin!!!!

2nd for Alex this weekend at the Junior Olympics. With this placement Alex qualifies for the U15 USA Pan Am Team that will travel to Havana, Cuba in the fall. Still got some work to do tomorrow. Starts this weekend!

What a great weekend! We took a modest size team to Atlanta to compete in the IBJJF Atlanta Open and everyone did amazing! From first time competitors to those trying to fine tune their game we spent two days watching great Jiu-Jitsu and spending time with amazing teammates! Congrats to all those who went out and put it on the line!

We placed top 10 in both the adults (9th) and kids (8th) rankings!

We took a great team to the UT State Judo Championships and came out with a lot of hardware! We finished second in the junior and senior divisions respectively. Sensei Reagan, Bill, and myself are very proud. Time to get ready for nationals in the summer!

Had a great day yesterday getting the future ready! Thank you to Ray Casias and Angelina De Luca and their Spring Hill team for coming down and doing a cross training session! 25 competitors came in and got 1 day better!

Effort is everything and these kids put it in yesterday! Can’t wait to see what the future holds for these young warriors!
