Our Mission at CrossFit SolaFide is: To empower every body to reach optimum physical and mental wellbeing through safe and effective group workouts, nutrition coaching, and accountability.
Take weekends off? Three days on 1 day off, two days on? Which is it? breaks it down:
Rest and recovery are essential parts of training but striking the right balance is *individual*.
A lack of recovery results in exhaustion, potential injury, a suffering performance, etc. If you don't know what your ideal recovery schedule is, start TRACKING yourself. Track not only your workouts but write down how you feel that day and your *NUTRITION*.
Rest days don't only mean to become a couch potato. The goal of recovery is to create blood flow - biking, walking, or a warm up without the workout!

Ambassadors are chosen every 6 months to recognize the people we see going above and beyond to contribute to this community.
These people show up to class consistently. They welcome new faces and cheer people on even after their workout is over. They come to our events, engage with our social media, and tell their friends about the gym.
Luckily, the list of people who do these things is a long one, and that speaks to the power of this community. It is difficult to choose such a small group for this task which is why every 6 months we will choose another round of wonderful members to help us out! Thank you to EVERY member here.

The Certified CrossFit Level 3 Trainer (CF-L3) credential is a CrossFit-specific designation for those who have completed the Level 1 and Level 2 certificate courses and then passed the CCFT examination. This credential is for the experienced individual who wants to demonstrate a higher level of CrossFit coaching knowledge and ability.

“I’m pregnant — is CrossFit safe for me? Which movements? How hard can I work out?”
Short answer is, yes you can do CrossFit while pregnant! Long answer is, it depends and each pregnancy is different.
Key moments from the Pregnancy and Athletic Performance panel include:
• Keeping up with hydration and nutrition - especially in hotter environments (hello Southern United States 🔥)
• Knowing where you are and what your goals are - talk to your Coach and they will guide you in scaling each workout.
• Core stability is important and the great thing about CrossFit is that there are SO many options for tailoring a movement to your ability!

How many times have our coaches said "keep your core tight!"?? Every day possibly, but here's why:
**Why Stabilization Matters:**
When you engage your midline, you create a solid base for lifting weights and doing high-intensity exercises. This helps prevent injuries and boosts your performance by ensuring that your body moves as one unit, rather than having weaker spots that could cause problems.
**How to Engage It:**
To engage your midline, imagine you’re preparing for a punch or bracing yourself against a strong wind. You should feel your abs tighten and your back muscles firm up. This bracing helps keep your spine in a safe and strong position.
In CrossFit, focusing on midline stabilization can improve your form, help you lift heavier, and keep you safer. So, next time you work out, remember to "brace" your midline and keep that core strong!
