FAM-JAM Location update for Sunday, June 9!

Due to a 60% chance of rain and the multiple days required for setup, we’re moving our “FAM-JAM” worship service indoors to the Family Life Center Campus (Gym).

No need to worry though. All the details are the same, we’re just moving inside: 

* 10am | Family Life Center Campus (Gym) | 250 Old Farmers Rd.
* No Childcare or LIFE Groups available | This is a family-style worship service.

And you’re still welcome to bring your own chairs!  

We can’t wait to worship with you—all together in one BIG service!

Both campuses, and all four services coming together as one! Yes, please! And, there’s more...

Lunch is provided after service, AND fun activities planned for the kiddos! Be sure to bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on. You’re more than welcome to park at the “farm” or at the FLC and walk up to the “farm”.

* 10am @ the Family Life Center “farm”
* 250 Old Farmers Rd | Take the gravel drive next to the Family Life Center and we’ll meet up on the hill
* This service will be outside (weather pending)
* Bring your own lawn chairs and/or blankets to sit on
* Parking: available at the “farm” or you can park at the FLC and walk up to the “farm”
* No Childcare available | This is a family style worship service
* No LIFE Groups @ either campus
* No regular services @ the Madison St. Campus

We’re so sorry, but Vacation Bible School (VBS) registration is now closed and we’re at capacity. VBS starts tomorrow and we are sooooo pumped!

Meet Bernie and Britteny Ferguson! They made the decision to take their faith in Jesus public this past Sunday and we are so excited for them!

With the storms coming through, we didn’t have electricity so please excuse the grainy photos, but we never lost power! The service was so special! God is so good like that!

“What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus?”
 
 It’s Becoming Like Jesus.
 
How do we do that?
Matthew 5:1-12 (the beatitudes) is a good place to start.
 
What do the beatitudes have to do with Jesus? He embodies all the Beatitudes. They are His character, His conduct. And they should be ours, as well … as we follow Jesus and become more like Him.
 
The Beatitudes are not multiple choice, by the way. We embrace all of them or none of them … remembering, though, that discipleship is a process … a Life-long Journey of Learning from Jesus.
 
Discipleship begins with a right relationship with God … and builds with right relationships with people.
 
How’s your relationship with God?
 
Has it begun?
 
And is it building?

We do not grieve like those without hope (1 Thes. 4:13-14).

For the follower of Jesus, death is a “see you later.” But loss still hurts. We still grieve.

This week we lost a friend and colleague—Kevin Abrams. And we feel this loss deeply. Kevin served our church and community so well, and with a smile.

Pray for our staff as we grieve, but please be in prayer for his family as they too are grieving the loss of a son, father, and friend—he was so much to so many.
