Dr. Anderson said to the crowd,”This is Kenwood High School. As 1SG says, this is thee Kenwood High School.”
They are our finest students who have sacrificed so much to be the best and shining examples of how bright Kenwood High School can, and will become.
This years induction theme matches Dr. Anderson’s, “Restoring the glory.” Thank you to Dr. Rye for assisting with the theatre set up.
Congratulations to all of our newest inductees to the National Honor Society. They are the biggest group since 2019 🏰 🎉 👏🏼🥹🙌🏼

You typically only hear about the negative experiences when it pertains to special education in CMCSS. However, as an advocate, I make efforts to shine light on the positive moments too.
Thank You To The Staff at Kenwood High School who strive for inclusion. Despite being overworked, understaffed, overlooked, underpaid, and limited resources, you all try daily. It is not an easy task, but thank you for the effort you take with meeting each students educational needs.

Today Mrs. Patterson took her English II classes to the library to experience a Book Tasting led by Ms. Holliday. A Book Tasting is a fun, interactive activity that introduces students to a variety of books, authors, and genres. The goal is to help students choose books they want to read, rather than being assigned a specific book.
Mrs. Patterson’s students spent the last few minutes of class checking out their own independent choice novels to work with throughout their this unit. If your child has Mrs. Patterson for English II, be sure to ask them what book(s) they checked out today!
