The Clarksville Montgomery County Adult Literacy Council provides FREE one-on-one and small group tutoring for adults who want to learn or improve their reading or English, get their GED (now known as HiSET), ESOL, or learn basic computer skills.
The Clarksville Montgomery County Adult Literacy Council hosted its Volunteer Appreciation Dinner on April 4th in the Franklin Room of F&M Bank.
The event honored and welcomed over 50 Current and past Board Members, Community Partners, and Volunteers.
The evening was filled with a catered meal, live piano music, networking, sentiments about the impact of the ALC, and special thanks to all who contributed to its success.
Velma Jo Williams, the Executive Director of the ALC ended an evening with a special tribute to Khandra Smalley, who served on the board and was a valuable partner to the organization.

ALC hosted a table at the APSU Volunteer Fair today. We were able to handout our new brochures to many interested APSU students! We were able to network with other non-profits. Enjoyed the lunch provided thanks to Meagan Potts!
