I am delighted to announce the expansion of my administrative team! This development will allow me to devote more time to my family, as well as to editing and sessions. Although I strive to remain as flexible as possible, I’ve found that excessive flexibility can sometimes lead to complications and blurred boundaries.

To enhance communication and streamline our processes, we are introducing some policy changes.

First, we will no longer use Facebook messages on my personal account for anything beyond the initial inquiry. Additionally, text messages will be limited. Our primary form of communication will now be email, ensuring that anyone on the team can respond if I am unavailable.

A significant policy change is that the initial retainer payment must be made within 24 hours unless otherwise discussed. This is particularly important for mini sessions and marathons.
If the retainer is not paid on time, session date/time will not be held.

Furthermore, some existing policies will now be strictly enforced:

- Invoices must be paid in full before products are ordered and delivered.
- Late fees will be enforced after the first late payment. For example, if payments 3 and 4 are late, a late fee will only be applied to payment 4 and any subsequent late payments.
- Late fees will be $25 per late payment after 5 business days.

Please remember that communication is key. If there are any issues, don't hesitate to reach out to me or my team.

A quick reminder: business hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 4:30 PM CST. Please allow us at least 2 business days to respond to any communication, with email being the fastest method.

This is a post I made in the Bo***ir VIP group on June 19th, 2024. I feel the need to post here as well as I have continued to take time off to deal with my personal life.

I want to state that I have bent over backwards for clients even bending my own policies as I understand life happens and I have aimed to be flexible.

However starting July 1, 2024 I will no longer be as flexible as this has lead to me being burned in more than one way.

I can no longer be flexible for others if it is also not received in return.

First off, I’ve always been honest about my pricing. I’m not cheap, and there’s a reason for that. I’ve invested thousands of dollars into my photography education and specializing in bo***ir photography.
This group is about more than just showcasing my work; it’s about building connections. I want this to be a safe place where you can vent, ask for recommendations (like the best nail salon), and more. That’s why I don’t usually post about my prices unless there’s a sale or a content call.
Here’s the deal: I did make a post a while back about being flexible, and I still plan to be. But after some recent experiences, I need to be a bit stricter, especially with new clients.
When I post a content call, it’s for creating new content. I respect my clients’ decisions about whether to share their images. Some are okay with sharing everything, others prefer not to share at all, and many choose somewhere in between. Content calls are often about trying out new sets or offering you a session experience without the pressure to buy anything. It also helps me when I’m running low on shareable client images.
Just to be clear, I am not cheap, and my content calls are not 100% free.
Believe it or not, I’ve had people pay a $200 retainer and then not show up. The retainer for any type of session I offer is there to ensure that those who book are serious and committed.

Now, let’s talk about my regular sessions and products:

-My normal session fee is $498. This includes everything for the day of your session and the preparations leading up to it: phone calls, contracts, invoices, welcome guides, a thank you box, hair and makeup, outfits (buying, washing, sanitizing, replacing), props, jewelry, and my expertise in posing you. Plus, all the time I spend editing your images.
-My packages start at $850 and go up to $5200, covering a variety of products. On average, my clients spend between $1200 and $2750, depending on whether they choose a current collection or a custom one.

Due to recent events, I will now require a minimum investment of $850. You can choose to use this for a product collection or a la carte up to that amount.

Lastly, I will be updating some policies to ensure I maintain flexibility while also setting necessary boundaries. This is to ensure everyone’s experience remains respectful and professional.

And to be clear, the new minimum investment and any upcoming policy changes won't affect current clients who are already booked.

Also, I want to remind you that while I do have two admins helping me keep content posted, I run this business on my own. If you reach out and don’t hear back within 2-3 days, please message me again. I receive a lot of messages daily through text, messenger, and my business socials, so sometimes things get a bit lost. This is why I often prefer phone calls for booking sessions—it helps us get everything sorted quickly. Plus, I have a busy life outside of the business.
I’m flexible with my clients because I truly understand that life happens, and I hope to receive the same respect in return.
For the remainder of this week and possibly until the middle of next week, my posts will be limited, and my engagement will be near zero. The past few weeks have been extremely rough, and I need to take a step back to take care of myself and catch up on my personal life.

It has been a very wild 24 hours for my family.

Today alone we found out my mother will have to fo have surgery on Monday morning AND my grandmother on my father’s side just passed away an hour ago.

So during this time, I will be stepping in a lot more than normal to help my family.
