📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM PUBLIC WORKS: 📢

As the high tide waters from Tropical Storm Debby continue to recede through the night, Public Works will have an opportunity AT LOW TIDE TOMORROW MORNING 8/6 to clear debris from the storm drains and streets. This effort will assist with draining out remaining water. Public Works crews will be out in the flooded neighborhoods first thing in the morning.

We do understand our residents will begin clearing up storm debris soon and many have already begun. Please note the following:

- Normal garbage collection will continue through the week.

- A special storm debris collection is scheduled for Saturday. Set out on the curb any damaged household items such as furniture and rugs.

- All branches and palm fronds must be tied in bundles with twine or cut down to fit in a container and set on the curb. All loose leaves and debris can be put in containers or bags (paper or plastic is ok this time around).

- Large paper bags are available for free at Public Works for pick-up or if you would like to give us a call at 363-9243 (leave a voice mail if we do not pick up) we will be happy to deliver them to your home.

Lastly-please be patient and hold storm debris SEPARATE FROM HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE UNTIL SATURDAY. There were several large power outages, and we want to make sure the trucks have enough room for any spoiled food and such.
