On today's edition of meet our board members, we'd like to introduce, Kestutis “KC” Petraitis. KC Petraitis is pleased to be one of the original members of Burning River Soccer Club and serves currently as the Board Vice-President. He acts as a volunteer coach for the organization and helps coordinate volunteer efforts for the Club. KC played youth soccer at multiple clubs over the course of his career while continuing to coach at Villa Angela - Saint Joseph High School. He currently serves as the Director of Real Estate at University Circle Inc. where he helps facilitate transactions and develop properties for the benefit of this vibrant Cleveland neighborhood and its stakeholders. Burning River Soccer Club has fulfilled a passion for KC by bringing soccer directly to Cleveland families that lack access to competitive sports.

On today's edition of meet our board members, we'd like to introduce, Katie Veasey Gillette. Katie is proud to be one of the founding members of the Burning River Soccer Club and is the current Board President. Her days playing soccer started at age 12 (although she wishes she discovered it sooner!), playing at the CYO, high school, college rec, and adult rec levels. As an Architect by day, Katie is fulfilled by work that strengthens communities - specifically Cleveland neighborhoods. She believes that the Burning River Soccer Club can also create a positive community impact by showing kids how dedication, camaraderie, and hard work apply both on and off the field.
