We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make the 2024 Head of the Cuyahoga Regatta a success! Whether you're a rowing enthusiast, love the outdoors, or just want to give back to the community, we need your help.

This exciting event brings together athletes, spectators, and supporters from all over, and it wouldn’t be possible without our amazing volunteers. Roles vary from assisting with race operations, helping at the start/finish line, to supporting our onshore activities.

🚣‍♂️🌊 Exciting day on the water for a group of students and their adult mentors. Our coaches taught them rowing basics along the importance of team coordination. Love watching them learn while having fun. 💪

As our River Experience Summer Camps come to a close, we reflect on the joy of introducing youth to the sport of rowing in a safe and supportive environment. Thank you to Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District for their generous support, Concept2 for the donation of oars and our incredible staff and volunteers!

Antares Mexico Club de Remo has arrived! They are very excited to be in Cleveland to participate in the Pan-Am Games.

Age is just a number! Western Reserve Rowing Association’s ‘Dreamboat’ will be competing in the Pan-American Masters Games Women’s Eight in the 70+ age division at 11:00 on July 14. Captains Eileen, Sally & Janet will also be competing in the Quad race at 1:10pm. Come cheer them on!

Cleveland VA program transforming exercise for those with paralysis The Louis Stokes VA's Advanced Platform Technology Center is on the cutting edge of prosthetics and exercise to improve the lives of our nation's veterans.

Reminder --

CRF will be hosting a SQL/CQL safety test review session at the boathouse this coming Saturday, February 3, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Who should attend? Those interested in coaching, those needing a safety review or those interested in being an independent sculler. We encourage you to share this opportunity with parents, alumni, friends/family or anyone else who wants to deepen their knowledge about safety on the Cuyahoga River.

This review session is free, however registration is required. If you plan on attending, please register by emailing Tim Marcovy at [email protected] by Friday, February 2 at 5:00 p.m.

Note: If no one registers for this review by the deadline, it will be canceled. Unless arranged ahead of time, there will not be a test administered at this session.
