NOWCorps (Northern Ohio Watershed Corps) is a state and national AmeriCorps program funded by ServeOhio , Ohio's state commission on service and volunteerism. In this role, you'll steward our local environment by leading volunteer efforts, overseeing native plant cultivation, managing wildlife monitoring technology, assisting with restoration and trail maintenance, promoting the Northern Ohio Watershed Corps, and other exciting tasks. Join the Euclid Creek Watershed Program this Saturday, June 15th from 9-11 AM and continue to remove invasive plants from Dusty Goldenrod Preserve. Besides pulling from the ground, we will be working with small bushes such as privet, multiflora rose, and glossy buckthorn.

Your responsibilities will include leading volunteer efforts at Stearns Native Nursery, overseeing the growth and planting of native flora, managing wildlife monitoring technology, assisting with restoration projects, maintaining trails, engaging the public through hikes and discussions, promoting the Northern Ohio Watershed Corps through education and outreach activities, and contributing to conservation efforts through various tasks. The service year runs from October 2024 to September 2025.
