Securing Israel’s Future Through the Negev

The Negev Foundation is a Cleveland-based nonprofit foundation that strives to improve the overall quality of life for inhabitants in the Negev region of Israel by supporting initiatives that contribute to the region’s economic, cultural, and environmental stability.

For over 30 years, our mission has been to develop Israel’s “final frontier.” In that time, the region’s harsh exterior has given way to communities that can foster families, schools, arts, and agriculture.

As cities in Israel’s North approach capacity and immigration to Israel continues to increase, developing the Negev is not only crucial to the support of Israel’s growing population, but to the security of Israel as a whole.
