UPDATE ON PUBLIC PARKING AT WEST SIDE MARKET

Beginning Friday, June 7, West Side Market’s paid parking lots will move to a gateless parking system. This creates a system of seamless entry and exit into the lots and alleviates congestion on Lorain Avenue and West 25th Street on days when the Market is busy.

-The first 60 minutes during West Side Market hours are free.

-After 60 minutes, during Market hours, the hourly rate is $1.50 + tax, with a daily maximum of $12.

-Outside of West Side Market hours, parking beings at the hourly rate, with the daily maximum of $12.

-If you plan to park for more than 60 minutes during West Side Market hours, or any time outside of Market hours, you will pay by following directions on well-marked signage in the parking lots.

-To pay, you can scan the code on the sign, or text or call the number posted. You will provide your license plate number, your payment info, and your intended parking duration.

-If you are approaching your paid duration limit, you will receive a notice on your phone. You will also be given the option to increase your duration if you'd like.

-CPMC and ProPark staff will be onsite Friday, June 7 - Sunday, June 9 to assist guests during this transition.

Great news for West Side Market! Last night approved legislation that provides an additional $10 million toward West Side Market capital improvements and allows CPMC to pursue a wide variety of funding sources to fully execute the Market’s master plan. This transformative plan, developed in partnership with the Bibb administration, will keep the Market thriving for merchants and customers for another 100 years. We are grateful to Councilman McCormack and Council President Griffin for their leadership in helping move this legislation forward.
