We're a small business in Upstate New York that specializes in Resin creations, woodworking, CNC carving, and Laser engraved designs.
Alaskan Yukon gold nuggets paired with a black band gives a great color contrast.

This brand new batch of labradorite has some amazing flash to it!
It definitely makes for some beautiful inlays.

It’s time to get back into the habit of posting regularly!
It’s hard to narrow down what would have been a favorite custom project of 2022. Here are a couple that stood out though!
Triple channel bands, one with blue and white diamonds and another with ruby and moonstone.

This custom order batch of guitar pics is probably my favorite so far.
I love how that burl wood pops against those resin swirls.

Since it just about feels like it’s been a million years since I’ve posted anything online, why not post about something over a million years old!
The inlay in this ring was made with 10 to 20 million year old fossilized amber. I love how the color changes a bit as the light hits the amber.

I wanted to challenge myself both creatively and technically with this new ring design.
I call it “The Treasure Hunter”.
A layer of Tyrannosaurus Rex fossil chunks and fragments weave back and forth around the ring like the corridors in an old mine. Exploring further you’ll find uncut white diamonds and a core of copper at the center.
The T-Rex fossils are backed by a Black Onyx pigment from and mixed with blue glow powder for a pretty cool glowing effect.

Start to finish Lake George NY resin inlay cheese board.
I like the bright blue the customer picked out for this one!

A couple of custom rings from last week headed out to customers. One with rubies the other with emeralds.
I love how the bright sunlight makes the colors pop!

Very busy week in the shop!
Check out this custom ring, part of a matching set.
Congratulations to the happy couple on their wedding anniversary!

Like edge olive wood charcuterie/cheese board with hand carved Skaneateles lake and resin inlay. One of the NY finger lakes.
The rush orders still make me nervous. Especially when it’s my LAST piece of olive wood!

Working with crushed rubies can be such a challenge especially when adding in meteorite fragments. It really does come together nicely though!
I can’t decide which I like better.

No matter what I design or create there’s always something humbling about my customers trusting me to make their wedding rings.

This custom cheese board with Cape Cod resin inlay was a fun project.
This board was done with Italian olive wood and custom color mix for a night time ocean feel.

Worked up this ring using white Welo Opals, white pigment and a black zirconia band. The opals are individually set at different depths for a 3D effect with the opals colors.
It’s black and white at first glance, however; when the light hits the inlay the opals let out subtle flashes of red, green, blue, orange and yellow. The effect looks like lightning in storm clouds.

Worked up a small batch of burl wood and resin pendents.
These were made using Australian Malle burl and Californian Buckeye burls.

Working on some moulding around the house.
I call this photo “I need a second protractor” because apparently I lost my first one! There’s a lot of frustration in this picture!
The Mrs. offered to let me use her “goniometer” and I laughed thinking it was a joke and said no thanks. It turns out, it’s literally just a medical protractor! I should have listened!

Cheese board, trinket dishes, charcuterie board, coasters, or something else?
What would YOU make?

I enjoyed making this custom order for a customer earlier this year. No CNC this time!
Peruvian Walnut drink tray and charcuterie board with inset handles and hand carved NY finger lakes. The resin pour was black mica blend with 24k gold leaf.

This Superhero ring is inspired by DC Comics Superman.
Created using a Tungsten Steel band, a blend of blue pigments and crimson red opals.
Tying the whole theme together and honoring Superman’s “other worldly origins”, I’ve included meteorite fragments from the Muonionalusta meteorite.
Also pictured in the photos is a fragment of the Campo Del Cielo meteorite.

I definitely stepped outside my comfort zone using Purple Heart to make a coaster set.
The color combo reminds me of “The Joker”.

With the camping and RV season about to kick off here in the Northeast we were talking this weekend about how to celebrate with something “camping” related.
I headed to the workshop and came up with this ring I’ve dubbed “The Fire Pit”!
Tungsten steel with ember opals. Oh, and that grey pigment is actually hand crushed charcoal straight from the fire pit!
Check out how it glows red at night to look like coals in the fire!
How did I do with this one?!

I went for a subtle mother of pearl look in these coasters with a mix of iridescent pigments.
This slab of cherry really has some nice crisp grain patterns!
