Register for our first Community Field Trip! Meet us at the Albany Institute of History & Art for a docent-led highlights tour of the museum's current exhibits.
The tour will take us through the varied museum exhibits and will last approximately two hours. There will be time after the tour for self-exploration .
All entrance fees to the museum will paid for by the Library. Please be sure to register each attendee separately. Metered street parking is not covered by the Library.

Patrons took a guided nature walk of Halfmoon's Champlain Canal Trail this week. Thanks to Addison from the Cornell Cooperative Extension for sharing his knowledge as we explored this beautiful trail🌲🌿

Our staff enjoys sharing tips on living sustainably with each other. This month our Adult Services Librarian, Kaity, put together a collection of books to help patrons explore growing their own food!
Her tip: “Growing your own herbs and veggies is another great way to save money and live more sustainably. Basil is an easy plant to grow and homemade pesto is delicious!”

We're looking for more Facebook followers and friends to get the word out about our organization. We are an orchestra, made up of over 60 members of our local community. Our mission is to bring live concerts to those who would not ordinarily be able to attend them. The majority of our concerts are free & open to the public. If you could help us by sharing this post we'd very much appreciate it!
This summer we are proud to be celebrating our 50th anniversary by bringing three free concerts to you! Our program includes patriotic favorites as well as some pops classics - with our highlight being Copeland's stirring Lincoln Portrait.
