October is National Substance Abuse Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness about the importance of preventing substance use in our communities. It’s an opportunity to promote healthy choices and support those affected by addiction. By encouraging open conversations, providing education, and supporting prevention programs, we can work together to create safer environments for everyone, especially our youth. Let’s stand united in fostering a future free from the grips of substance abuse. Prevention starts with awareness!

September is both National Su***de Prevention Month and National Recovery Month, a time to remind ourselves that hope and healing are always possible. Let’s use this month to break the silence, show compassion, and extend a hand to those who may be struggling. Recovery is a journey, and it starts with knowing that no one has to walk it alone. Reach out, listen, and let others know they matter—because together, we can make a difference! 💗
We are excited to welcome everyone to the EFHS football regular season opener this Friday at 7:00 PM at the newly renovated stadium on the campus of East Feliciana High School in Jackson. Please review our stadium guidelines so we can ensure everyone remains safe as we support our students at the Tigers’ Den!
📣 Did you know that Louisiana experienced 2,628 drug-involved deaths and 1,420 opioid-involved deaths in 2022. To assist in raising awareness, above is Governor Jeff Landry’s Overdose Awareness Proclamation. Moreover, August is recognized as Overdose Awareness Month and August 31, 2024 is recognized as “Overdose Awareness Day”. Please help raise awareness on this important issue by sharing the proclamation with your family and friends.
