November meetings were full of taters! Lessons included learning about sweet potatoes from LSU AgCenterās Seeds to Success and Louisiana Harvest of the Month program. Students watched a video on how sweet potatoes are grown, harvested, and cooked. They also tasted baked potatoes and had options to add toppings such as butter, brown sugar, and himalyian salt. Almost every member who tried them for the first time asked for seconds! Exactly 346 members (Cloverbuds and grades 4th-12th) attended meetings this month.
