Crossover Gang-
We are enjoying the July 4th holiday in Oregon with our oldest daughter and her family. It is beautiful where we are camping. As I reflect on this day, I am reminded of Psalm 33:12 that says
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.”
We know that God is literally the Lord of everything. He is Yahweh, Great Jehovah, El Shaddai, Adonai, Creator God, the everlasting King! But as we look at our culture and even our government, it is not so evident that there is a reverence for such a Creator God. Our dollar bill says “In God We Trust”, and as Christians, we remain a remnant of faithful who do indeed put their trust in Him. But what about the government leaders? What about the education system? What about culture?
This nation is ripe for revival like never before. But I encourage you…don’t wait for our government leaders to come around. Let revival start in you.
Peter said it starts in the house of God. This 4th of July, as you celebrate with family, consider parts of your own heart that need revival. Where have you lost passion? How has your faith weakened from where it once was? What areas of your heart need to be turned over to God’s lordship?
2 Chronicles 7:14 says:
“If my people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will heal their land.”

Church-
What happened in Nashville was absolutely tragic. Our hearts ache and prayers go out for all those impacted by this senseless violence. But it’s also tragic how this is being hijacked by political rhetoric - on all sides. It usually goes something like this: “ Well, this just goes to show that…” fill in the blanks.
I believe the main thing this shows is that this country needs Jesus now more than ever, and is ripe for revival.
Church- that should be our response, and our prayer. Lord, bring healing and revival to our country!

Crossover family-
This Sunday is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. We will join with churches from all over, celebrating the sanctity of human life, and this life is from the moment of conception. In this celebration we will highlight Pregnancy Care Center, a tremendous local ministry our church partners with that offers help and hope to hurting mothers. This ministry has already been instrumental in many precious babies receiving the choice of life. You will have an opportunity to donate to this ministry as we receive the offering Sunday.
Please prayerfully consider coming prepared to give to this ministry.
