The NIC Graphic Design program prepares students for jobs in the graphic & web design markets in the
Everyone is invited to the annual graduate design portfolio show, Action24, TOMORROW, May 3 in the newly remodeled NIC GDES studios on the NIC Coeur d’Alene campus!
From 2 to 5 p.m. there will be a special reception for students, staff and other NIC employees.
Starting at 5 p.m., and going until 8 p.m., the public is invited to view the student exhibits and chat with graduates.
Fuel your mission with free food, beverages and the amazing art of our graduates! The new NIC GDES studios are located at 466 N College Dr. on NIC’s main Coeur d'Alene campus. The studios are in the NIC Industrial Arts Building south of the soccer field.

Last of all, Bacon is the 12th member of our class. Bacon loves cow plushies and sitting for treats. He also loves butt scratches. After graduation, he plans to continue being a lap dog. A fun fact about Bacon is that he knows how to whisper.

How is it already a week away?
Our class has been working so hard on this year’s show. We’ve definitely beaten the record for sticker sheets used and the website is getting its finishing touches. Everything’s coming together. Hope to see you there!

Maddie Rougeux loves illustration but wants to go into animation. She hopes to go into that industry and do storyboarding or character design. Her fun fact is that she can bend the top joints of her fingers.
Megan O’Brien loves graphic design and front end web design. She’s spent thousands of hours with computers. After college, she wants to travel and go on an adventure. She has the same birthday as her grandmother down to the minute.
Kaylyn Kuehn is from a small town in MT. She enjoys graphic design, web, and social media but her favorite is illustration. After college, she plans to get a dog, get a job she enjoys, and do some traveling. She’s been in a submarine and is also a little colorblind.
We had so much fun at the Spokane American Advertising Awards on Saturday! Congratulations to Max, Aleah, and Megan on their Addys and Aleah and Kya on the TMR Scholarship!
Eric Bockie is finding his niche in design, leaning toward illustration. He’s working towards a job in the industry and his real estate license. He loves learning about different religions and cultures. He also uses Pinterest more than his mom.

Wyatt Williams says you can call him internet man because his initials are www, which is so fitting because loves the web and thinks it has a lot of room to grow. After college, he plans to get a good, long-term job in the field.
The portfolio show is getting close! We’ve been busy getting the stickers ready and much more behind the scenes. Hope to see you there!
Kya Jo Timmins is a North Idaho local who specializes in cute characters and loves digital drawing and graphic design. She plans to work at a graphic design agency and live with her boyfriend after school. She also loves to salmon fish, camp, and do character voice impressions.
Mo Metzger grew up in southern Wisconsin doing traditional drawing. She says she is forever learning and interested in all kinds of art. Her plan is to continue working where she completed her internship and see where life takes her. Also, she loves painting, sewing, and prop making.
Aleah Jones enjoys graphic design and social media though she still loves traditional art. She plans to travel and dive right into a design job after school. When she’s not designing, she’s oil painting or playing her guitar.
We had so much fun creating and assembling our labels. You can check all of the finished products out at the show!

Max Bazler enjoys all design, especially web, ui, and branding. After school, he plans to dive straight into the industry. When he’s not designing, he’s at the gym. He also loves solving the Rubik’s cube and avocados 🥑
Megan Hudlet is a full fledged Idahoan who enjoys concept art and prefers illustration. Her plans after college consist of getting a job with the degree she worked so hard to get. A fun fact about Megan is that she poured candle wax in her eyes when she was little. She’s fine though.
Kaitlin Melby, one of our amazing illustrators, loves digital painting and hopes to continue her education in digital art. One day, she would love to work as a splash artist. During the summer, you might see her swimming around in her mermaid tail.
