It's that time of year! Summer is winding down, school is beginning and before you know it, you'll need a Christmas card photo.

Summer is not over yet! There's still time to squeeze in your family photos, and hopefully a few more beach days left in September!

What a perfect summer morning at Museum Beach in Scituate with Max and his chunky baby thighs (oh and the rest of his family, too)!

Despite the wind, we got an awesome sunset last night at Sandy Beach. I usually find myself around the younger kiddos, so it was a pleasure to hang out with these two handsome seniors!

Baby Brendan is here! Thank you so much to this family for inviting me into their home today, and especially for letting me in on a few baby snuggles. What a perfect little guy this is.

Harringtons are soaking up the last weeks of summer and looking Cape Cod classic while doing it!

Oh, this family! I look forward to our time together every year, and every year they raise the bar. I could share so many favorites from today's session, but these two just stuck out to me. Thank you Wiliamses!

I recently spent a morning with Christie's twins who are just turning a year (I first met them when I took some baby photos for them this past winter). What a difference a few months makes! Toddling around, babbling and so very smile-y. Thank you, Christie!

Happy Father's Day to all the amazing dads out there! I've certainly met some awesome ones through this gig, but had to recognize our #1 on this day.

On that note, Father's Day signals the beginning of summertime! Four Swans is back at it this summer, so reach out now and book your beach shoots, sunset sessions and family reunions! I will only be running 1 or 2 mini-session days come September/October, and those won't be announced until August. Summer is much more flexible, and I'm happy to do mini-sessions or full during the summer. Looking forward to seeing all of my favorite families!

That's a wrap! Fall photo season officially ended with Mr. Jack and his parents, and his smile says it all. Thank you for a great year, families! You are all so wonderful, I have the BEST job.

Yesterday I worked with 7 families, and I could post pictures from each one because they were all so amazing and fun, but ending the day at sunset with the Campbell clan had me driving home with a big ol' smile.

When your clients look like this, the job is nothing but easy. Oh, and fun. Look at these gorgeous Healds!

I kicked off fall photography in the best way this weekend: a sunrise session with one of my FAVORITE families that have been with me since my early days.

I can't even think of adequate words to caption this! Thank you nature for these gorgeous summer sunsets, and THANK YOU to this awesome family!

September 18th is the day! Sign-ups are on a first come, first serve basis, so please either PM or email me to do so! I have both morning and early evening slots available. $100, 30 minutes, and all images are given to you.

I don't get to do them very often, so photographing engaged couples is definitely a treat. Kim and Jim (awwww!) got a beautiful evening at the Scituate Lighthouse!

It is with mixed emotions that I am sharing this: beginning in September, I'll be scaling back my photography to return to teaching. Most of you know that I taught before I had my children, and I'm excited to be going back to my roots, yet regretful that this means having to put photography on the back burner. My weekends are going to have to be devoted to my family, so for this reason I'll be scheduling one weekend in September and one in October (dates TBD) to hold mini-sessions for those of you seeking family photos. I will be still be taking on some family sessions, newborn sessions, etc., but on a much smaller scale. I will also happily schedule my summers full to accommodate all of you who have supported me and continue to want to allow me to photograph your families! I am humbled by each and every one of you who have praised my work, consistently invited me to photograph you and your loved ones, and welcomed me into your homes and lives to do so. Springtime means a new business venture! I was so excited to spend the morning with Jodi of The Neagle/Caffrey team in Scituate! The sun peeked through for just a few minutes...just enough time for to snap a photo.
