Our designers can help tell the story of your product and brand through shape, color and graphics. Working side-by-side with our engineers and production team, we can include design elements that work in manufacturing and gives your product the look and feel you need to stand out in a crowd. We're heavily involved in some major markets, including consumer and commercial appliance, outdoor and automotive, so we have a feel for current trends and design direction. We work side-by-side with our Engineering and Production counterparts, so you know that that we can translate your creative vision to the production part. We can create 3D renders that allow you to better understand and image what the manufactured part will look like. Our team works with everything from napkin sketches to full prints. We can use our Solidworks software to create or convert 3D models to ensure nothing gets lost in translation from design to delivery. Engineers can review your parts and provide feedback on readiness for manufacturing, looking things like tolerances, draft and tooling feasibility. Whether its onsite or virtually, we can be an integral element of your next development effort. If you're a small business without an Engineering department or just don't feel comfortable designing parts for injection molding, we can design parts from scratch. Not sure how a part is going fit, look or feel? We can 3D print prototype parts on one of our two state-of-the-art 3D printers. Parts and can be printed and delivered in a matter of days, allowing you to quickly iterate in the design and development stage of a project. We can print in a wide range of materials, including a choice of color, transparency and durometer options to simulate how your injection mold part will look and fee. We can finish your 3D printed part with paint or water transfer graphics to give it a more realistic look. When you're ready to move from product development to production or you need a different supply chain solution, we ready to help! We can source just about any material you may need and have tool building and manufacturing options that will meet even the most demanding part and project requirements. We can produce preliminary pricing from a 2D drawing or even just a prototype sample and a conversation over the phone, but the most accurate pricing comes when we have the following information:
3D model - This helps us see any complex geometry and estimate the part weight. We can convert just about any file type, but ".igs" or ".stp" files typically work the best
2D drawing - This helps us understand any critical characteristics and dimensions. A ".pdf" works great for this. Material specification - Even a generic material is fine (ABS, Nylon, Polypropylene, etc), but if you know you need a specific material, please let us know. Annual volumes and order quantities - This information helps us understand the scale of the project so we can provide the most competitive quote possible. Part Finish Requirements - This could be any decoration requirements or just the surface texture the part requires. Extras - Does the part need threaded inserts, adhesive, assembly or other secondary parts or processing?
