GAME ANNOUNCEMENT

Your fighting Texas Aggie Men’s Rugby Club are set to take on for our first Match of the Season. Come down this Saturday September 14th, to Penberthy Rec Sports Complex as our 1st XV kicks off the season shortly followed by our 2nd XV.

1st XV Kickoff: 1:00 PM
2nd XV Kickoff: 2:30 PM

Happy Labor Day

Help support Aggie Rugby by donating to our Travel Fund. The Team starts its new school year no longer in the Red River Conference, but as an Independent Team. With this comes the need to travel farther to play against increased competition. The team will be traveling to Tennessee as well as 3 trips to either Houston or the DFW area this fall. Please join us in our journey to assist Texas A&M Rugby in traveling to play tougher competition as we strive to become a national contender.

As many of you may or may not know, former student and Aggie Rugby Player Chris Parker has quite a fight on his hands. Chris was recently diagnosed with Grade 4 Diffuse Glioma. As is typical of Chris, he has taken the challenge head on and is determined to be there for his wife and kids. As you can imagine, the cost to fight such a battle is astronomical and not one Chris should take on alone.
As such, a group of his friends led by Sam Alum Zach Tafelski has put together a fund raiser to support Chris and his family. All funds go directly to Chris Parker. Please click the link below to purchase a CP Strong hat. Once you have your hat, post a picture and tag us to show support for Chris.

The 5’10 180 lbs Lock/Flanker, is currently attending Eagle High School, in Eagle Idaho. Haydn is a strong Christian and has been an athlete his entire life. Despite having 1 year of rugby experience on a State Championship winning side he previously had wrestled for 6 years and played lacrosse for 8 years. Haydn also plans on joining the Corps Of Cadets and intends to study Financial Planning in the Fall.
