Welcome to Aggieland for the start of Fall 2023 semester! We are praying for you. We invite you to join us for Christ centered worship, Bible centered teaching, and love filled fellowship throughput your time here at this amazing university. Checkout www.CSBCTX.com for service times.
Tomorrow is the time to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
We plan for so many things in our lives. Have you made your plans to worship the only One Who gave His life to pay your sin debt and sealed our victory over death by His resurrection? You are invited to join us at CSBC as we celebrate the most exciting event in human history!
Tomorrow morning in Sunday School we begin a study of the book of Judges. This study is extremely relevant to the conditions in our country today! Join us at 9:45 am as we see God’s response to a nation whose prevalent attitude is, “Everyone do what is right in your own mind.”
Join us for Sunday School tomorrow morning as we study one of the greatest Bible stories, the fall of Jericho! In addition we are celebrating our church anniversary and will have a great lunch following the Morning Worship. SS starts at 9:45 am and MW at 10:50 am.
Do you want to know the secret to living a victorious life? Join us at 9:45 am this next Sunday morning as we continue our study in Joshua. You will experience the timeless truths of God’s Word and find the answers that only He can give!
This is our Sunday School study for our college age and young adult class. The principles of God revealed in this study are certainly relevant to the times in which we live. Please join us at 9:45 am each Sunday morning as we seek to understand God’s Word together!
We are located at 2555 Texas Ave S, College Station, TX.
Our college age / young adult class begins a new study in Sunday School tomorrow, “Living Victorious in Uncertain Times.” We will be following God’s work in the people of Israel through the books of Joshua, Judges, and Ruth.
The times in which we live today are definitely uncertain. How do we know what to do and how do we keep going? God has given us the answers through His example here in His Word.
Join us in this study to prepare yourself for the life God has for you! Class starts at 9:45 am. We have coffee and donuts at 9:00 am with time for fellowship and prayer.
How do you determine if something is true? Is there absolute truth?
Join me a 7 pm tonight as we encounter a woman with a song of praise that she publicly presents. In it she will highlight many of the major characteristics of Jehovah. She will declare the truth of a coming King who will conquer the earth and establish His Kingdom. She will highly recommend the Lord as a Savior, Compassionate Friend, Righteous Judge, and Conquering King!
He is Someone she wanted the people of her day to know. God must have wanted us to know as well since he preserved her prayer which is one of very few recorded be a woman in Scripture.
I will be live-streaming here on FaceBook on the church’s page so grab your Bible and prepare to be uplifted with Hannah’s voice of praise for the Lord!
Happy New Year! 2021 was filled with ups and downs for most of us. Many times the struggles of the day have seemed overwhelming. Yet through it all God has been a ready help in our time of need!
As we embark on the adventure of 2022, are you filled with hope? You may consider this to be a strange question given the negativity bombarding us daily. However, my hope is not based on my circumstances or this world. My hope is completely dependent on Jesus and His promised return! What I see around me in this world is the fulfillment of what He declared would happen before His return. My expectations are fueled daily with the evidence of His word coming to life around me. What an amazing time in which to live!
As we see His truth coming to pass, it drives me to a greater desire to know Him through His Word and experiencing Him in a daily personal relationship. Would you join me on that journey in this new year? I challenge you to begin by committing yourself to worship, study, and service in one of the Lord’s churches, one that teaches and preaches God’s Word.
Tomorrow is the first Sunday of the year and a great time to begin. Join us at CSBC at 9 am for fellowship and prayer before Sunday School at 9:45 am and Morning Worship at 10:50 am. I look forward to seeing you there!
Isaiah 9:6–7 (NAS): For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us;
And the government will rest on His shoulders;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
7 There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace,
On the throne of David and over his kingdom,
To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness
From then on and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.
God’s love and value of you were forever settled when God fulfilled this promise in the virgin birth, sacrificial crucifixion, and triumphant resurrection of Jesus Christ. This gift to you and me is the greatest of all gifts. He deserves to be celebrated!
I pray for you and your family a very blessed Christmas! May you rejoice in God’s gift. This season has its greatest joy when you know the gift personally. That is the purpose for which He came. I encourage you to pause for a few moments and carefully consider where you stand with regards to Jesus. Have you ever realized your sin and separation from Him as a result of that sin? Have you felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit convincing you of your need of a Savior? Do you desire to live with Jesus in heaven when you depart this life? There is only ONE WAY to overcome the judgment of sin and eternity in hell. Humbly pray and ask Jesus to forgive you of your sin and to save your soul based on His sacrifice for you!
Merry Christmas!
I have been praying for students this week as midterms are upon them. May God grant you the understanding necessary to apply yourselves in your coursework and His comfort as you address the stress that comes with it.
If you are a college student here in Bryan/College Station or know a college student here that is interested in starting a Bible Study/Prayer Group, please contact me. I would love to mentor some students in learning about Jesus and maturing in a relationship with Him!

Whoop! It’s game day in Aggieland, the first game of the season! There is a lot of excitement as people prepare to cheer our Aggies to victory.
There is something else exciting going on in town this weekend! Sunday is the day we worship the living Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and celebrate His resurrection in assembly with His people. I am preparing to join you for Sunday School and Morning Worship at College Station Baptist Church at 9:45 am and 10:50 am tomorrow. I hope to see you there!
Welcome back Aggies! We are glad to have you here for the Fall Semester 2021. As you prepare for this semester don’t forget that your spiritual health and education are an important part of your success, well-being, and purpose in life. Join us for worship!
Proverbs 1:7 (NAS): The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
Fools despise wisdom and instruction.
WHOOP! Congratulations to all the graduates this weekend! May God bless you as you fulfill the purpose for which He created you.
Do you ever speak before you think through what you will say? How does that normally turn out for you?
In tonight’s Bible Study, we will examine the rash vow of Jephthah, one of the Judges of Israel. This passage is confusing to many. Tonight I will provide a logical argument for what I believe to be the best interpretation of the Scripture here.
It is a story of a human just like us who thinks he needs to bargain with God to be successful. There is no need to bargain with God. He is not so easily manipulated as man is. God seeks those who will faithfully serve Him. Please join me tonight at 7 pm here on Facebook Live Stream as we study God’s Word and learn to be obedient servants!
Praying for our college students as they engage in finals week! May God bless your studies, give you the ability to remember and apply what you have studied, and grant you sanity through the process!
Looking forward to Sunday School and Morning Worship tomorrow! I encourage you to participate in both of these services. Your spiritual health depends on a healthy diet and exercise just like your physical health.
Sunday School is designed to provide in-depth training in God’s Word by interacting with others seeking to understand and apply God’s principles. We have kids, youth, college, and adult classes available. We would love for you to join us in this journey of becoming more Christ-like and impacting our community and world with the life-giving Gospel of Jesus!
Please join me this Saturday, 3/13/21, at our church facilities at 9 am to continue the work of cleaning and organizing after our remodel. We can begin cleaning and organizing kitchen supplies as well as other tasks.
Thanks,

Happy Valentine’s Day!
Join us on Facebook Live at 11 am this morning for our Morning Worship Service. We will complete our study of Colossians as we review Col. 4:7-18. The message is entitled, “A Higher Love”.
Due to the inclement weather forecast for this weekend, we will have no in person service this Sunday. We will livestream via Facebook beginning at 11 am. I will also provide a Zoom option for those who don’t use Facebook. If you need the link for the Zoom meeting, please contact me.
This is a great opportunity to use your social media presence to encourage others to hear God’s Word.
Praying for God’s protection for each of you!
