Stevie Lou Sisco 🎀✨👼🏼 — A 7.4 lbs 19 in MIRACLE !!! Childbirth truly is a door to heaven. It is the highest honor and privilege to bring this sweet girl into the world! She was just as excited to meet her sweet bubba, daddy, and mama that she hardly let us get to the hospital in time. 🤯
These last few days have been absolute bliss. So many answered prayers happening in real time!!!!!
Beaux could not be more obsessed with his baby sister & watching Paden become a girl dad just MELTS me!!! I am just filled with gratitude for a healthy girl, crazy amazing delivery, & a faithful Father. 🥹🙏🏼🙌🏼

I still can’t believe he’s real!!!!! Beaux is such a smiley sunshine boy & we are absolutely loving his little personality that’s coming out. I also can’t believe I get to be his mama. 🥹🫶🏼

Month 3 has been wild.
We’ve had some terrible sleep, but also this bond we are creating makes my heart swell so much that it could burst. Motherhood is such an honor and I’m seeing that day by day. This boy is the smiliest thing there ever was. Watching the joy our little man brings to people truly makes me so proud to be his momma.

Doing a big hair color change during postpartum is usually a BIIIIG no no with my clients, BUT giving your hair a break from bleach while your hormones are all over the place is SO important.
In the past I’ve had clients come to me with questions about scalp/hair health and my biggest piece of advice as a hair professional (NOT a doctor) is… your lifestyle will absolutely reflect in your hair health.

1. Hydration & nutrient dense foods will always be the best regimen for your hair health.
2. How is your hormonal health? Imbalanced hormones is usually the first thing I advise my clients to get checked if they are experiencing hair loss/brittleness. It could also be a sign of other deficiencies such as vitamin or mineral deficiencies! Make sure you’re always testing from a OPTIMAL scale instead of the bare minimum. This is where a functional approach can truly benefit your hair/skin health.
3. Products: Are you using something that isn’t professional grade causing havoc on your hair health? Are you using something that could be allergic to? Are you needing to go a non toxic route to ensure health from scalp to ends? Also, product build up can really clog your follicles. Washing your hair 3 times a week and washing it twice when you do helps break up all the junk built up on your scalp. After all, healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp. Think of your scalp as a nutrient rich soil to help your hair grow!!
4. BRUSH. YOUR. HAIR. It’s breaks up the oil/build up on your scalp and distributes those oils to your mid-ends for hydration and health!!!!!!! This is like picking weeds from your garden. Using a natural hair brush can help distribute those oils and can cause less friction on your hair strands.

Want to know what my resolution for 2023 is?

Honestly, I don’t have one. I heard a clear voice from the Lord earlier this week that my calling for this year is to simply live by His Spirit & to make a conscious effort to die to myself DAILY. He assured me that I in fact will not lose myself in my craziness of motherhood but instead I will blossom entirely into the person He always intended me to be. The pressures I felt from society, the perfectionism I expect of myself, and the girl I once was might be gone forever but those are the parts of me that God told me to leave at the cross. I can’t even begin to explain how spiritual and euphoric my life has been since my last few weeks of pregnancy. The seasons I’ve had recently have really led me to feel what true peace feels like when you are rested in God.

So, no resolutions for this year. The Lord has prepared this season.

Celebrating 2 years today with the best husband & future dada. 🥹🤎 What an abundantly blessed 2 years we have had from traveling to now becoming parents!!!! This man is the most hardworking, caring, and loving individual and I am one lucky lady to have you as mine. I look so forward to this new season with you as I watch you become the best example of what a dad is to our son. I prayed so much for this. It’s such a sweet thing to watch the Lords plans unfold right before my eyes.
