Pinnacle Advanced Primary Care is a Direct Primary Care Practice that offers an alternative way of providing affordable health care that offers extended office visits. We are not your typical primary care. Our goal is to provide our patients with transparency and high-quality care. Pinnacle is a team-oriented company that works in partnership with its clinical and operations staff to enhance staff and patient experience. Pinnacle’s medical assistants are highly motivated and valued members of the Pinnacle family. We strive to empower our healthcare team to be proficient and satisfied through continued collaborative learning and clinic modules.

Medical Assistant Job Description:

Provide direct patient care in support of 1-2 providers on a primary care team. Enhance provider capabilities through implementation of disease and preventive management protocols for individual patients. Facilitate the overall care coordination of patients by tracking referrals, obtaining test results, processing paperwork, processing medical records, and facilitating direct communication between the patient and their care team. In addition to direct patient care, the medical assistant will perform other job duties as required such as completing required training, enrolling and processing new patients, keeping up to date on licensures and certificates, and performing special duties as assigned such as the HIPPA compliance officer or lab oversight. The medical assistant will be responsible for ensuring smooth patient flow and scheduling for their assigned providers.
