The first full week of school is a wrap! Pirates enjoyed Senior Sunrise, the first volleyball game of the year, and Pirate Cross Country head out to their first race today at the Cheyenne Mountain Stampede. The Back to School Dance is tomorrow night at the Grace Center! Don't forget to wear white, Pirates!
Be sure to go out to the Grace Center on Saturday, August 17th to support our volleyball team during their car wash! We hope to see you there!

As part of our award-winning STEM curriculum, students in Introduction to Engineering Design get to design and create "Happy Meal" toys. Congratulations to St. Mary's junior, Olivia Davalos, for winning the Regional 3A Tennis Championship in 1 singles, and senior, Carmen Gonzalez, for taking 2nd place in 2 singles! The Lady Pirates made a second half comeback against Ignacio to take the 45-38 victory. The Pirates fought hard to earn their place in the Great 8.

St. Mary’s is honored to have hosted Col. (Retired) Angela Suplisson. She spoke to engineering students about her devotion to the Divine Mercy of Jesus, her family, and her career in the United States Air Force. Colonel Suplisson shared the science and engineering behind technologies designed to save pilots from crashing due to G-LOC (G-induced Loss of Consciousness). She also led the aeronautics department for Unmanned Aerial Systems at the Air Force Academy, among many other accomplishments. Thank you, Colonel Suplisson! We can’t wait to host you again.
