Emmaus Church SC Students

Student Ministry programming for grades 6-12 will kick off Sunday evening November 3rd. Students will meet weekly for the month of November at the new building from 6-730pm for worship, teaching, small group discussion, and overall good time. Hope to see you there!

Cooler weather has arrived and so has our last month of Middle School Students in the lobby during the service! Hoooorayyyy for our new building. We will be meeting for all 5 Sundays this month of September, taking October off (students will be in worship and the new church) and then kicking off our Sunday Night Worship in November! Until then, we will be beginning our new series: Bright Lights, Big City this week and we hope to see your middle schoolers there!

Emmaus Students showed up today volunteering throughout the Midlands and we could not be more proud!!! Way to go!

Welcome all middle schoolers are we start a new series this Sunday called Newish. We will meet in the lobby during the service after the music. We will encourage students to recognize that change is a part of God’s design and to encourage them to take healthy
steps to embrace change as it comes their way.

Play ball!!! Hoping to see you at the fireflies game tonight at 6:05. We will be sitting out in the outfield. Fireworks to follow! Who is coming?!? 

Looking forward to starting a new series: Remix with Middle Schoolers this weekend. We will be discussing the act of service and how to best help those around us in the community. Bring a friend and join us in the lobby during the service. Hope to see you there.

Middle School Pool Party was a huge success! Thank you to the Gibsons for hosting, the leaders for hanging out (and chicken fighting) and the students for being awesome! Here’s to Sweet Summertime 🌞

Middle Schoolers will be starting a new series this week: Everyday! We will be taking a look into how we can walk with Jesus throughout our week, not just on Sundays. Middle School students meet every Sunday in the lobby with their leaders. Hope to see you there!

Change in schedule… HS students will meet the 1st and 3rd Sunday in the month of May!

Students will be volunteering this Saturday, April 27th from 12:30 to 2:30 at Midlands Orphan Relief. We will be making kid care packages for local orphans. Please comment below or email me at [email protected] to let me know if you are attending. Friends and family are welcome. The more the merrier. 

Calling all High Schoolers who are handy or want to learn… next Saturday, April 13th at 8:15 am, we will be doing some painting, installing a ceiling fan, replacing a threshold and replacing the crawlspace door at a residence in Lexington. Because of rain, the Saluda Shoals Easter Egg Hunt was rescheduled to this upcoming Friday, March 29th. We need a few more volunteers to arrive at 10am to help us host the hunt (starts at 11). Please let Lindsey Day know if you’re available, or you can register through the link below. Thanks!

We've missed YOU, Middle Schoolers. We are so excited to have you back this Sunday, March 17th, in the lobby during worship to kick off our next series, This is Real Love. This three-week series will help students see how Easter demonstrates God’s real love for us and to encourage them to accept that love for themselves. We hope to see you there.

We are sponsoring the community Easter Egg Hunt at Saluda Shoals Park on Saturday, March 23rd and would love for you to help us serve our neighbors. We will be spreading out the eggs and supervising the hunt from 10-11:30 and we really need your help. Message Adrienne Dodge at [email protected] if you are available. Thanks!

Want to give back to our beautiful Earth? Students can join our Litter Sweep team this Saturday, March 9th to help pick up trash. Please email Jay Keck at [email protected] if you're interested. Bring friends and/or family! Middle Schoolers need to be accompanied by an adult.
