Young Democrats of the Central Midlands is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Senator John Scott. As the chapter representing Richland and Lexington counties, we saw firsthand how Senator Scott represented not only his district, but the entire state. He was a mentor to many, a friend to all, and a fighter for what was true and good. History will be good to him, and he will be deeply missed by us all!
