Pizza Tree will be closed for one week beginning Wednesday August 7th and reopening Thursday August 15th! We’ve been working with contractors and architects and engineers and the city to get a brand new hood system that’s gonna solve all of our problems forever, but it’s a real undertaking to organize and install 😅
Thanks for your patience and be sure to get your pizza fix this weekend and Tuesday!! We look forward to reopening and serving everyone at our full capacity from a comfortable environment no matter the weather outside!

Kale Me Maybe by Kaley Rae Jepsen has marinated kale, some mozzarella and cheddar, some Jackson Pollocky zauce splatter on top, a sprinkle of Parmigiano Reggiano, and is finished post bake with some fancy Tropea onions marinated with some red wine vinegar and olive oil and oregano and a bit of salt to give it that Jimmy John’s Italian Night Club or that Deb’s salad vibe 😎 Its kalelicious!
This thing will be available by the slice and whole and half pie all weekend. Make it vegan by swapping out vegan chz for the regular stuff. Add some Italian sausage to it if you wanna eat some meat!

A very very special edition of Kimchi Pie is back! This time we have collabed with Missouri Brinery by . Paul took our kimchi recipe and got some top notch organic produce and then applied their health department approved scientific fermentation processing to it to create the best kimchi I’ve tasted tbh. It’s so clean and salty and sweet and mayyybe a smidge more spicy than in prior batches.
This pizza also has sriracha glazed pork belly and chili aioli and cilantro.
We have like 130 lbs of kimchi to go through, so whole pies should be around for a minute. Available by the slice all the time thru the weekend! Order slices at the window only, and whole pies at pizzatreepizza.com or call 573-874-9925

Spinach Artichoke Dip Pizza here all weekend we hope!
This pizza has spinach artichoke dip as the base made with cream, cream cheese, provel, Parmigiano Reggiano, tons of garlic, spinach, and artichoke hearts. Then we topped that with mozzarella and more good spinach and garlic roasted artichoke hearts.

🚨Long ass post alert 🚨
So excited to finally let everyone know that we will be closed all day next Tuesday, November 7 and reopen for dinner service at 4pm on Wednesday, November 8th so that we can install and get trained up a bit on our NEW STATE OF THE ART STUPID EXPENSIVE AND AMAZING PIZZA OVENS!!!!!!
On Tuesday next week we are receiving a TRIPLE DECK set of . These ovens will fully replace our current mismatched and very used sets of deck ovens. The new ovens are conveyer style ovens, but the enormous difference with these and the ovens at a Dominos, is that the belt on these ovens is made of granite stones, which is the same surface that we currently cook on.
These ovens will cook pies faster and more consistently than our current ovens especially at peak times. I’m confident that we will be able to achieve an even better base product with these ovens than we do currently. Our product will be crispier, rippier, and more evenly baked. No more forearm burns, no more sweating while tending the ovens under enormous pressure. Our shift managers will have their time freed up to make sure that everything else is being done well on the shift. Also looking forward to reduced ticket times at peak hours. Now the ovens will bake as fast as we can make.
I wouldn’t have believed any of this myself, but in researching all of this I traveled to in Chicago where they use these exact ovens. I brought my dough and cheese and sauce and worked with Jimmy all morning to get the oven dialed in and it went great. Almost too easy. The product was amazing and my dough was not great that day tbh. Also, Jimmys was just awarded 6th best pizza IN ALL OF Chicago by Chicago Magazine and we def have some similarities in what we do.
Anyways, for me this is the biggest change that the store has ever gone through. Closing the dining room for COVID was a big deal. Adding the second oven shortly after then was too. Neither was as upending to our normal operations or the final product as this is!

Want to announce that we will be closing early at 4pm this Sunday to celebrate our 9th birthday by having a little party from 5-8pm in the alley next to Pizza Tree that you are invited to!
We will be having some costumes cause it’s that time of year, no pressure tho. We will also have…
a diy tie dye station to tie and dye your own Pizza Tree shirts! For $20 you get a white Pizza Tree shirt, printed just down the alley at , and access to a nice big dying station, all the rubber bands you could need, and a nice ziploc type bag to take it home in to rinse out your self the next day! Profits from this will be donated to ‘s Give ‘Em The Boots campaign! Thats the only thing that will cost you anything at our party.
We will also have…karaoke, beers and sodas, some food from our neighboring restaurants, a fire pit lol and s’mores and hotdogs, a special guest appearance by Banjo the pizza dog, guided tours of the inside of Pizza Tree departing at 530, 630, and 730, and fellowship and camaraderie with Pizza Tree emps, vendors, and fellow TreeHuggers!
Lastly I’m also gonna make a quick announcement about what’s next at 909 Cherry and you will be the first to know!

Plz welcome Logbro to our permanent menu. This is a simple tasty pie that we developed back when we had our weekly pizza oven gigs at Logboat. Used to be exclusive to that service but now, upon their grand reopening, we’re putting it on the menu. Cheers to your reopening and to your continued killing it in general ! Looking forward to grabbing some beers at your place soon!
Logbro has pepperoni, Italian sausage, Peppadew peppers, ricotta dollops, and fresh basil. Kind gives some Instant Classic vibes with the salty meat, zesty pickle, and fresh n creamy blend. An easy winner tho for sure!

Chilly W***y Neck Tattoo has cheddar and mozzarella, beefy chili, pickled jalapeño, roasted red pepper and little cornbread nuggets that bake right on top of the pizza. Thats right, we don’t put cornbread on there, we put cornbread batter on top and watch it perfectly crisp and brown up! It’s a miracle.
Mac and Chili is our Mac and Cheese pizza with some of our dank ass chili on top! Not too hard to understand that one!

Hey yall! We have a some Detroit style pizzas available today and tomorrow! We’re offering two different sizes this time, Big and Little. The Big one featured here has pepperoni and jalapeños, the little one is a Jalapeño Papa. Both have the saucey stripes and delicious caramelized cheese edges. You can get any of our specialty pies as one of these or build your own. No half and half plz.

Introducing our new Mushroom Pesto Peppadew pizza! This pie has zauce, mozzarella. garlic roasted mushrooms, chopped Peppadew peppers and our housemade no nut pesto! Hoping to keep this one around for a while and switch up our mushroom forward option more often!

It’s that time again! We’re for some folks to join our team. If you’ve ever thought about applying, now is the time! Day and evening shifts available. Come and join the crew!
Our first menu announcement is bittersweet, a little spicy, and might leave a bad aftertaste for a lot of you.
We are taking the Kimchi Pie off the permanent menu, and will only offer it as a special a couple times a year. This pizza is very labor intensive, and we started to wonder what we would be able to offer if we had the space and time back that it took up. We also feel like it will be super fun and exciting when it comes back on special, but for a long time now, it has felt culturally appropriative to us to have our take on kimchi on the permanent menu.
We understand this has been a very popular item and is synonymous with Pizza Tree for so many people. We will always stick to our roots of making high quality and fun pizza and we're excited to head into a new era. That being said, we are on our last batch of kimchi which usually lasts about 2 weeks, however we have a feeling this one will go a bit faster. Onward!
Just a heads up, we will be sharing some menu changes with y'all soon that will be rolled out in the coming weeks. Before we do that we wanted to introduce you to our management team so you can see the people that make sure our pizzas are fabulous and our staff is trained and happy! Pictured left to right and top to bottom is Mikey, Chel, Johnny, Cole, Eli, and Carson. Not pictured is our longest tenured employee Justin who is on vacation with his wife celebrating their 10 year anniversary which we catered at Mojos! There is about 35 years of collective Pizza Tree experience from all these folks.
We are lucky to have such an awesome team and we are excited about all the pizza of the future!! Stay tuned after we finish a bit more recipe
